I've only been using this for a couple of weeks, so I hesitate to give it a five star review. However, so far I am loving it! It is much less expensive than the N_x_l brand I was using and makes wonderfully rich ruds very quickly. I am having to learn that it doesn't take as much product to do the job. THAT makes it an even better buy! I haven't noticed any itchy or flakey scalp problems so far and my hair seems to have more shine and WAVES rather than frizz. (I'm using the conditioner also.) About 9 months ago my hair started falling out in clumps so I ordered a biotin/minoxidil serum for my scalp. Upon application you have to massage it into your scalp so that's when I realized I had SEVERE dry scalp. I had huge chunks of dry skin on my scalp. I knew I had dandruff, but this was on another level. It was so bad that my mother and I thought it could possibly be a fungul infection. I was using a store brand dandruff shampoo but it didn't help at all. I ordered this and would massage it into my scalp and let it sit the entire tike i showered. After 4 weeks of using this shampoo my scalp is completely clear and healthy and my hair quit falling out. It's worth mentioning I lost about 30% of my hair in 6 months. I cut it all off and did everything I could. I even got blood work to see if I had a thyroid issue. I'm honestly shocked that the shampoo resolved all my issues. I'll never use anything else. I bought this product for my teenage son because he had a bad case of dandruff, and the Selsun blue shampoo I originally bought did not work at all. Within 2 weeks, his hair was softer and his dandruff issue drastically decreased.
