I had this tape and some other brands. If something sticks to your skin you need to be careful while removing. We need our common sense here, just soak it with water or alcohol them prosigue to remove carefully. Also use a cotton swab to remove oils and creams before applying to your skin. Yes, it leaves some black residue under, use an acohol swab or cotton with alcohol to remove it (soap do not remove it in my experience). I personally use CKeep Kinesiology Tape (2 Rolls for 10 box precut 2023), the pre-cut tape serve better for my needs. All brands I tried targets the same issue to keep my trigger thumb from trigger to relieve inflamation and pain while using it ( the Oval-8 are ver restrictive me also expensive). I cut them in half and apply them around my thumb as the picture shows. Hope this helps. ... show more

I keep it on for five days at a time sweating my butt off in Florida and it stays on even in a shower. The black sports K tape falls off in about an hour. If you need to keep it on for a long time this is the one you want

I have used several brands of Kinesiology Tape and this brand stays on the longest. When I remove the tape, it does leave some adhesive on the skin and sometimes some threads from the tape. I just use rubbing alcohol to remove what is left on the skin. If you have sensitive skin, you might want to try another brand. I personally like the ability to wear the tape longer. ... show more

I love that this is a roll instead of pre cut strips. I use this to help hold the weight of my pregnant belly. Very stretchy. I haven't had any trouble with edges peeling up and I usually wear it for the week and let my skin rest for the weekend just because. I haven't quite figured out the trick to getting all the adhesive off of my skin though. Taking it off in the shower helps some with the discomfort of it, but I'm always left with some residue. I was told by my PT to wear this while my wrist heals. While it does the job when wearing it, it hurts to take it off. I put it on Monday night and took it off on Friday. I wear the tape on my forearm, front and back. It wasn’t bad taking it off the back since there’s no hair, but it truly hurt when tearing it away from my hairs on the front side. I ran my arm under water to take the majority off and then poured an oil on the remaining that was really hard/painful to get off. As you see, I have really short non-existent hairs to begin with. Not sure if the length of the hair makes a difference on the ease to take it off. Wish it wasn’t so difficult to take off. ... show more
