Before I purchased this, I read everyone’s reviews and I will say - they helped with our decision to buy this coop. Someone mentioned that the directions were hard to follow, not to us. It was helpful that they showed exactly how many of each screw you needed and exactly where they went. Very helpful! Only took us about 45 minutes to put together and get the chicks in it. Couple things I noticed that I wanted to mention though - the ramp is super steep - my chicks aren’t really sure about it. The play yard isn’t that big - once you get two chicks down there, there isn’t much room. And, the roosting bars don’t stay in place. We have 4 chicks a couple months old in ours and they’re okay for room right now but, once they get bigger, I don’t think they’ll all fit in their comfortably if they needed too.

Materials used for this house are cheap, poorly made. I would not recommend keeping any animal in this cage unless the cage is kept inside. I have added 2 photos. One photo shows the roof over the nesting boxes as you can see there is a good size gap between the roof bottom and top of nesting box. where a snake can enter or give easy access for a racoon or other predator. The two doors have only one sliding lock at the e bottom of the door, it won’t take much for a predator to get the doors open. There is no ventilation in the coop area. Whatever material was used on the roof the bits of material from the roof over the nesting boxes falls into the boxes when you open it. I added locks to both doors. I put 2 coats of water seal on the whole house. No roosting bar. Not worth the price .

We have gotten a similar coop before and love the size of this. There are two roosting bars that can fit 2-3 chickens each. There is also enough height to install about 2 more if needed. The lock on the nesting box is great, I am switching the locks on the other two doors to match due to raccoons being able to open the installed locks easy. The box does not give screws to screw the floor of the nesting box in (maybe for cleaning purposes), but an animal if smart enough could push it up, so I nailed that in with a nail gun. I would honestly recommend this coop and would purchase again. I put the coop together in about 1.5 hours by myself (on Easter in my Easter dress, haha).

It’s okay, but much smaller than it appears and it has a lot of gaps when it’s all put together. I have to silicone all the holes and staple the fencing on better. It’s cute but very cheaply made!! Will need different locks as well to keep out animals, the ones on it do not actually latch down!!

Update: Still standing and working fine a year and a half later. This is for one standard size chicken only. The nesting box is really only one, not two. If the divider is in, then each side is only 9in wide, chickens should have a 12in nesting box at least. This worked for me because I was using it to seperate out 1 chicken from the flock. I also added more yard to it to make it work.

We use ours inside for a large bunny cage. Super cute, easy to put together. I think I only had an issue with one screw for the roof, but it didn't change anything. I recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. The instructions were a bit unclear, in fact according to the instructions we were missing a part ; however I was able to build most of the house without my husband’s help. The house was not missing any parts it was complete just booklet for instructions may need to be revised accordingly. TBH, it’s a fair price & very cute house.
