    • Great for Kinetic Sand - these have been such an improvement in our set up!
After several years of using various plastic containers for kinetic sand, play doh, water and other "messy job" play, I came across these while looking at sand and water tables, and thought they would be an easy way to play with sand. The perks - the kids can use this at the TABLE. With other plastic bins they were relegated to floor play so they could reach down into the container. With these trays, their arms can rest comfortably on the inflated side walls, which are only an inch or two tall (depending on how full you inflate them). They keep the mess in!! Only negative is that stuff gets wedged a bit under the inflated side wall so to clean/collect it to put it away you have to make sure to dig into that spot, kind of like between the couch cushions - there's a goldmine in there! The plastic is sturdy enough to support 5 lbs. of kinetic sand when I move it from table to somewhere else for dinner time or what have you. And they have gotten heavy use for a month now and no problems holding air or getting holes. What a serendipitous find! Now if only I could find a toy "broom" to collect all the hot wheels, legos, magnatiles and other toys waiting to attack my feet... ... show more

They're great! My only complaint is all the photos show and pink one and blue one which is why I ordered these specific ones as I have a 3 year old daughter whose favorite color is pink and a 4 year old son who loves blue. I wasn't sent the darker blue and a baby blue one instead of a pink one. My daughter wasn't happy but it works for what we need it for me. I guess I should have specified that I wanted a blue one and pink one like what's advertised in the photos. SO BUYERS BEWARE - YOU MIGHT RECEIVE DIFFERENT COLORS THAN SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. But they're cheap and work for kinetic sand... so I'm not going through the trouble of a return. I'll just remember for the next time I have to order these to find another seller or message this one and let the, know I want the colors that are advertised. 7\10 recommend. Update: seller has issued a full refund since I didn't receive the colors show in the picture, which I greatly appreciate. The inflatable trays are still in perfect condition and work great for my children's kinetic sand. ... show more
