We got this product for our five grandkids--ages 8 and below, none very tall. This goal sets up easily and is at about the 7 foot range but can go higher. A couple of small tools are provided to put the goal together. It will definitely tip if the base is not weighed down in some manner. We sit weights on the base so we can easily take those off and move the goal around our garage/driveway area. It feels fairly sturdy except for the backboard which is thick plastic. I think the base and the metal parts of the goal will last but the backboard may not. If you have stronger, rougher, bigger players then you may want to look for something more substantial--but this one is great for our purposes. It doesn't come with any basketballs. Because the backboard is plastic we bought some smaller $5 basketballs from Walmart. I think the hoop and net could take a standard basketball but maybe not the backboard (for very long). All in all, worth the price and we got what we paid for. Two of the grands already seem to enjoy it--well, except for the pouting when they miss a shot. If you're looking for a cheaper, more occasional play type of basketball goal then this one gets the job done.

I ordered this Kids Portable Height Adjustable Basketball Hoop Stand fully expecting the adult man and boy child (pictured) to be included in the shipment. This was important, because my boy child and I wanted to play two-on-two. Imagine our disappointment when the basketball hoop stand arrived -- and the adult man and boy child did not! We were forced to play one-on-one instead, and frankly, my boy child is no match for me.
