I ordered this light up alarm clock for my son, who is getting older and wanted something more grown up like his older sibling's alarm clock. The design is whimsical and fun, and the color options make it easy to coordinate for either boys or girls depending on their preferences. The light functionality is excellent and adds a cozy, fun element to the room. However, the actual alarm clock features are not quite as strong. The programming feels clunky and is not intuitive for a child to set on their own. While there are a good number of sound options including birds chirping, running water, a few peaceful melodies, and two traditional loud alarm sounds, turning the alarm off is confusing. On the first morning, we accidentally kept snoozing it instead of turning it off. It took a few tries to get used to the controls. The instructions were helpful and available in multiple languages, which made the setup easier. Still, I would not expect an elementary-aged child to manage the settings without assistance. Overall, this is a fantastic clock for adding a soft light and playful feel to a child’s room. But if you are hoping for a fully functional alarm clock that a child can operate independently, it may fall short due to the complicated alarm controls. It is a solid choice for its appearance and lighting, but I would not give it five stars as a daily-use alarm.

This clock is so cute! It is so bright and colorful. The lights are as bright as it shows on the pictures. I was worried that it was going to be dull but it's not. The numbers show up bright white and clear while the dark background gives good contrast to see during the day and night. The cleverness of the design of this clock is in the buttons on the bottom of the unit. They are snooze and light buttons that act as feet but also can be pressed when the whole clock is pressed down. It's great to use in front of toddlers who are just learning how to to tell time. It has a great wake and sleep function that helps set the mood quickly and efficiently. The lights change so smoothly from color to color. It has different light modes that can do solid colors as well as three different color cycles. This clock has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and value.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this because I just wanted a clock for my desk just to show the time although this one is really for kids. The lighting options are just a bonus. The rotating light option kind of matches the light show going on in my PC. There is no annoying beeping alarm sound. You get to pick from 10 different tunes and sounds. I included a video with a short sample of each. The clock includes a Child Lockout option to keep your kids from screwing with the settings which is nice. I not really sure why they included a USB-A charging port on the back. I connected my Samsung phone into it and it only charged at a sedate 2 watts, so not really useful. The directions only call for a 5 watt to 10w 5v charger, so not much required there. The backup battery is a standard CR2032. There are a lot of option settings to choose from: 1) You can set a You can choose different lighting levels for the ambient lighting and the display. 2) You can also set the volume level for the sounds. 3) You can set a go to sleep lighting reminder from 7:00PM to 11:00PM 4) You can set 2 different alarms 5) You can choose whether the sun and moon symbols appear on the display 6) You can choose if you want the colon symbol between the hour and minutes flashes each second or not 7) If the Sun/Moon symbol is turned on you can choose what color lights up 20 minutes before the alarm goes off

We bought this adorable cat clock for our 7-year-old, who thought 5am was a perfectly reasonable wake-up time. The “OK to Wake” color cue was a game-changer, now he waits until the light turns green before getting up. The rainbow night light and soothing sounds make bedtime much calmer, and the child lock keeps him from messing with the settings. It’s cute, functional, and has genuinely improved our mornings and nighttime routine. He loves a good night light! Highly recommend for any parent of a little early bird! It is very lightweight though so I’m worried about if it drops or falls it probably would break. I don’t think the quality is extremely durable but hoping we don’t have to find this out the hard way! So far so good!

We’ve used this clock for a few nights now and my 7 YO really enjoys all the bedtime tunes and colorful night lights. The clock was easy to set up and my daughter can operate the music/volume, lights/brightness, and set her alarms with no problem. You do need to have the clock on a completely flat surface for the snooze to work properly. A charging brick is not included, but we have plenty of those around the house, so it wasn’t a problem for us. We had previously purchased a more well-known brand “ready-to-wake” clock with similar features for our son for double the price. As long as this clock continues to work, it’s definitely a great value and will hopefully help my child get ready on time in the mornings!

Sadly, this item never worked. 4 different adults (one being super tech smart) couldn’t get this to work. Zero lights, none of the buttons did anything and the setup default time just kept blinking but at an ultra dim level. I see that others have have great success. Im assuming we just got a defective one.
