It thumps for sure. I thought about getting the model with two subs. Not needed. If you heard it use and I told you it just one sub, you would think I was lying. Now it’s in a Jeep, so it’s a very open space, so I don’t know if it would be as effective as two if was in a trunk that’s closed off to the cab of the vehicle. This thing slams. Like "OMG that's a single 12?!?!" kind of slams. It's "damn, I hope I don't break something in my car" type of slam. I'm only feeding it with the 500w channel of a 5 channel amp. I can only imagine what it would do with a proper amp. Seriously, this is the one to buy. It doesn't take up a lot of room. It's a beautiful box and driver. Did I mention it slams? ... show more

The sub can handle whatever you throw at it! It is incredibly loud with my taramps big boss 3K! Also worked great with the kicker 800.1 but I wired mine down to 1 ohm. Great build quality and performance
