This thing hits hard! I have it installed in a 2020 Honda Civic SI. It comes with brackets to mount the subwoofer down. It gets loud! SQ is top notch. I have it hooked up to a LC2i and a Skar 1500.1d at 2ohms. So that is 930 watts rms. It is rated for 750w rms. It handles it fine and flexes the sub to its maximum. I would not go past 1000w rms on this thing or you risk blowing it. Some say they push 1500w on it but to me it is hard to believe that is RMS. Just make sure to tune the amp and LOC so there is 0 clipping and the sub should last for years and years. Use a 50hz -6db test tone for the tuning. For $375 this is a massive value for the money. The prefab box is super high quality and tuned at 33hz. So this actually hits very low. This subwoofer requires you to sound deaden your trunk or you will have loud rattles. That is a good thing. The look of the L7S is top tier. Everyone you show it to will love the look of it. People will think you have multiple subs for sure. Kicker is a top tier brand who has been around for a very long time. They know what they are doing. If you want to bump at a high impressive level without braking the bank I would 100% get this. Saves some room in the trunk also. This is way more then I need in a daily driver. Anything more would be overkill imo. Don't hesitate and get this. ... show more

It thumps for sure. I thought about getting the model with two subs. Not needed. If you heard it use and I told you it just one sub, you would think I was lying. Now it’s in a Jeep, so it’s a very open space, so I don’t know if it would be as effective as two if was in a trunk that’s closed off to the cab of the vehicle. Someone else would have to give you their opinion on that scenario. ... show more

Love it just what I expected from kickers L7s. Sound is nice and clean deep bass. The box itself is constructed great craftsmanship. The woofer is nice I like the blue stiching on the woofer it self along with the box. Got it paired with the cxa800 kicker amp great for what I was going for. Can’t go wrong. This thing slams. Like "OMG that's a single 12?!?!" kind of slams. It's "damn, I hope I don't break something in my car" type of slam. I'm only feeding it with the 500w channel of a 5 channel amp. I can only imagine what it would do with a proper amp. Seriously, this is the one to buy. It doesn't take up a lot of room. It's a beautiful box and driver. Did I mention it slams? ... show more

The sub can handle whatever you throw at it! It is incredibly loud with my taramps big boss 3K! Also worked great with the kicker 800.1 but I wired mine down to 1 ohm. Great build quality and performance
