This is the true dual voice coil model. Alot of people get them confused just due to lack of knowledge. The Compr is very tough and hard to fry if you wire it correctly and have the right cubic foot box, these kickers Kick! Also the 4ohm dvc can be wired between the two voice coils to run them in series on the speaker itself to make it a 2 ohm setup Now. This puts lets stress on your amp, thus providing a more constant, clean source of power for your speaker. Enjoy and crank it if you got it! ... show more

    • Handles all 500 watts rms.
Have single 12 in a 2.5cu ft box, powered by the new alpine x 5 channel amp wired at 2 ohms (500watts rms) and it sounds great with no distortion even with the bass boost at level 6 of 12. Can probably handle more power but don't want to blow it.

This is one of the best sounding subs I’ve ever had and does not require an expensive amp to sound amazing. I only have one 12 with a ported box and all of my buddies say they can feel me rolling up next to them. This thing bumps hard and rattles stuff apart yet is very crisp and clear with the music.     • Pro: Kicker knocks' Con: cone failure
390 watts of ppi amp and this thing knocks. After the 2 week break in it started really slappin. On a bass test song it blew 3 holes in the plastic cone. I just bought JL audio instead booo kicker engineers boooo

This is great speaker, I hv two, I ordered one to replace a old 2001 audiobahn and It gave out so I got this at 4 ohm and wired these two subs to 1 ohm w a Rockford fosgate amp w 1000 watt rms and they bump hard

I love the sub, but when I opened the box from amazon, the kicker box itself was in terrible condition and looked like somebody had already used it and such. I love the product, but with past experiences with Kicker I’ve received packages in perfect condition and I was very displeased to see it looked like my subwoofer has been returned by someone else and sent right back out. ... show more
