I got this scooter so I can gift it to my daughter for Christmas since her cousins have one, she's been asking for one ever since. I got it in color pink initially because she's a girl and that was the only option available, but I ended up getting a blue one and its perfect because her favorite color is blue so she will definitely like this one more than the pink. Assembly is super easy. It comes in three parts that can easily be put together without any tools. Each part fits perfectly with the other 2parts without any struggle. The color of the scooter is a nice combination of a darker blue with a lighter blue and they contrast each other perfectly. The wheels have a smooth and have great mobility. The entire scooter is well made and heavy duty. It has great weight to it. My daughter is going to love that the wheels light up, especially when she uses it at night. Overall, I think the asking price for the scooter is fair and you get a great quality scooter. Definitely recommend it.

The suggested 5-8 age range seems appropriate for this scooter. I got it for our daughter who is nearly 4, but she prefers her 3 wheeled one for the added stability. I think in a year or two she'll grow to like this one, as I imagine the 2 wheeled scooters can get going faster. I'll admit that I'm not the best at putting anything together, but the included tools were insufficient for assembling this scooter easily. I had to get out my tool kit and make use of my ratchet set to help get the job done. I'm sure you can make it work without, but it was so much easier with proper tools. The price is a bargain for the scooter, and the two colors offered will appeal to most children. The scooter appears to be of cheap material overall, but can't ask for much more at this price point. I didn't even know the wheels had lights until I revisited this page. That will be a nice touch when my daughter discovers that. FYI - my wife added the red ribbon for Christmas; it's not included with the product. She always adds unique touches to everything.

Pros: Metal and assembly is very easy with all the necessary bolts and Allen wrench. Glides well. Light weight my 5 year old can carry around with no issues. Price was reasonable for this quality. Cons: ordered the pink scooter but recieved the blue version. The word “scooter” across the bottom makes it look cheap. The connection for the handle bar to the base is a quick connect. You have to extremely tighten the lock down or the handle bar moves and will not be aligned straight with the wheel. I can see older kids easily having the handle bar misaligned if going over curbs or trying any tricks. This is a huge flaw in the design. So if you’re looking for a really budget friendly scooter this is for you. Just don’t expect to pass it down because it might not last.

I got this scooter for my daughter because she was getting to big for her old one. It looked like it was going to be a hassle to setup when I opened the box but it actually went very fast. About 4 minutes from putting the instructions down to my kid riding the scooter. It works well, feels sturdy, material doesn't feel like cheap plastic or flex, I forgot that the wheels lit up but they look cool going down a dark hall way and brighten the whole thing up. My kid is so happy that shes just rides it around the house most of the day instead of walking. Great little scooter. Buy it if you need it.

Rated for 150lbs, but awfully bendy at half that. The plastic deck is just strong enough that it works, but I doubt it will last. Kids never put away their toys so I expect this to sit out all summer and become brittle from UV exposure. Tools are provide for assembly, but if you have a box wrench set, you'll find that easier to use than the stamped wrench included. The light up wheels are fun, but add a ton of rolling resistance which slow the scooter's speed down a lot. The smell is awful. There's something about rubber products made overseas where the smell is putrid. You'll want to let this air out for a while. There's no branding or information on the box, it's Santa themed, but mine came with shipping labels attached from when the scooter was shipped to the Amazon warehouse which ruins it as a gift able box. Also, it's Santa themed, which for anyone with a December birthday knows that getting anything Xmas themed for a birthday present is no fun. Unfortunely that limits the gift ability of the scooter. So for the themed box with shipping labels, and the smelly tires, I took off a star. I won't deduct for the lit wheels being powered by hub generators adding unneeded friction, but I probably should. It's a good price for kids to use until they outgrow it.

I got this Kick Scooter for Kids for my youngest daughter for Christmas. There are a couple things about it that I wasn't impressed with from the start, and even more as I started to assemble it. For starters, I ordered a pink scooter because it's my daughters favorite color but was sent a blue scooter. Upon assembling the scooter, I wasn't very impressed with how it goes together, the only thing holding the floor of the scooter to the frame is the pressure of the bolt system that squeezes the plastic floor piece to the frame. The floor of the scooter is a cheaper plastic, and I'm not entirely sure how it will hold up over time. I would say it's "okay" quality at best. The wheels are supposed to light up but only do some of the time. As for the weight of the scooter itself I would say it's average, and it does roll pretty smooth. Overall I would say it may be worth spending a couple more bucks to get a better quality scooter.
