Basic white bulb with warm color temp similar to incandescent holiday bulbs. Pros: - 2 plugged into a power strip show 1W on kill-a-watt (vs 10W for incandescent). - Color is nearly identical to incandescent. Other LED are more white/blue. - Cost comparable to incandescents. - Filament style LED (less efficient, but looks better in exposed bulbs than various reflectors). - Zero heat (won't dry out and shouldn't set your tree on fire). Cons: none seen. So far they have lasted 150 hours or so. As these are run only 250 hours per year, they are expected to last longer than me (or anyone alive now). If they last 25000 hours, thats 100 years of holiday-only use. Will update if large amount fail sooner. ... show more

I am so glad these exists. During Christmas and all those village incandescent bulbs getting warm.. not good. These replace the old incandescent bulb, do not get warm and provide even better light

Replacing bulbs in Christmas decorations. These should have a long life. I bought the 25 pack and used 8 bulbs. Two of the eight did not work, so I had to use 10 bulbs. Good thing I have spares. Hopefully these last for many seasons, but a 75% chance the bulb works is unacceptable. Edit: I have updated my review to 5 stars as the seller offered me a refund due to several of the bulbs not working. Hopefully I just got a bad batch. ... show more
