I bought a lamp from Amazon and put this bulb in it. The bulb is recharged when the lamp is plugged in. The bulb is rechargeable meaning I can take it from the lamp, doesn't take long to charge, then place it in other fixtures or hanging lamps, it is controlled by an app on the phone, easy to use and understand. You can also make some changed just using the buttons on the bulb itself. You can change colors and / or change the brightness from soft to dim to bright!     • Great light for my stream set up
I have one of those ceiling fans with four lights and I just replaced the regular bulb with this and it always stays charged and is really fun to set the theme for my room when I go live. Very versatile as well. If I unscrew it it has about an hour to an hour and a half of life so you could do a lot of cool stuff and video shots with this lot of great creative ideas if you are into that. Definitely recommend it great price it's really sturdy aperture and amaran are great brands ... show more

This is a really cool light bulb, I love that it's RGB, I love that it works with the app so you can just sit down and do whatever you need to do with it. It's really simple to install it in a light socket and charge it or use it in a regular light bulb mode. As far as value for the money it's a little bit expensive but probably worth it, I will say though if you turn it up past 60%, it starts to get pretty darn warm, if you crank it up to 100% don't touch it, it will probably burn you. I also thought it would be a little bit brighter than it is. I was trying to bounce it off of my ceiling and use it to dimly light my room, it wasn't quite bright enough for that, now I use it as a hair light and it's perfect for that. I tried all the RGB colors and that's super fun but I just decided the hair light looks better if I just use a daylight setting yeah, it's a great product, I was able to connect this to my phone very easily, when using it in regular lighting mode there is a slight DeLay so if you turn the light on it takes a split second to come on. Great connectivity, great product, I really like it. As long as you don't mind it getting a little warm which may be an understatement and you don't expect it to be super bright you'll probably like it too, cool product ... show more

Love the lite, I would wish for more output, but it is advertised as practical lighting, and for that purpose, 8w is enough. The sidus link app is intuitive and works better than any lighting app I've ever used. The color matching capabilities, the effects, the internal battery charging from a standard socket, Aperture sure as hell knows what they are doing. I'm buying a few more regardless of cost. If you need ambient lighting, this is the one thing you Must have. The only drawback, is the app which can be downloaded is a bit hard to use, but it does as advertised. A must have for podcasters if you want a certain cinematic look!!!

bright bulb with many features. Very substantial bulb. And it runs off it's internal battery when needed! could load the app on two phones, using the same account, and easily control the bulb with either phone (using iOS 15 and 16). Use it to have red light inside during long winters. Doesn't use router which was a plus for me. Only negative is that it doesn't have a wake or sleep timer--seems like that would be an easy add to the app. If you want roughly the same capability with a timer, try the Govee B60051C1. ... show more
