These batteries are wonderful - the price is right and they last a very long time in-camera. The charger is handy and compact. Good item if you don't want to buy the Sony branded, more expensive batteries.

Got 2 other chargers (powerextra and first power) before landing on this one as of fall 2024. I think that this one is my favorite out of the 3. This one was more expensive than the other ones. Like $5 more if there’s a sale or $2 if regular prices. This charger is half if not less than the size of the other charger blocks which is nice when traveling. The other ones felt light for the size. The charging red-green indicator is more consistent than the other ones. Haven’t had issues with batteries or charging so far. Downside is that you get a micro usb cable. And the packaging for the batteries have more plastic and seem a bit more wasteful.

One of the criticisms of the RX100 cameras is that the battery life is less than desirable. I also require an external charger for all my camera purchases. I just don't like having my camera unavailable while the battery is charged with a cable connected to the camera. This 3-pack of replacement batteries and external charger solves both problems. So far everything has worked as expected.

Because I review photos in-camera and because I take them on the X-Fine setting, my Sony RX100 VII goes through batteries quickly. I needed a charger that would charge multiple batteries and the Newmowa was perfect for that. The three NP-BX1 batteries were an unneeded extra, but will make good stop-gap batteries - more later. The charger is very light in weight; it feels cheap, so I am hoping its longevity is not dictated by its mass. The battery slots hold not only the Newmowa batteries, but also Sony and Wasabi NP-BX1 batteries easily. There are no directions, but the batteries should be inserted with the white arrow pointing to the right. The indicator lights are red while the batteries are charging and are supposed to turn green when charged. I found that you do need to push down on the batteries to be sure they are firmly seated so that the light actually turns green. As for the batteries and my intent to use them only as backups... A genuine Sony NP-BX1 battery weighs between 22 and 23 grams. The Newmowa batteries weigh 22 grams, even though they are slightly smaller than a genuine Sony battery. However, the Newmowa battery has a much thicker plastic casing, which adds to the weight of the actual battery. Thus, I do not expect the battery life to be as long as that of the Sony and will use these batteries only as backups when I know I will not be taking a multitude of photos. If the charger continues to work well, this will be an outstanding purchase.

I feel this is a better charger for this type battery than the ones I have previously used. It is small and easily fits into a camera case. Also, it charges three batteries as opposed to the old ones that just charged one battery.
