Well, I realize technology has evolved, however, I expected better quality with this one. Within the first month, I realized that the 12 oz. is actually 14 ozs, the machine groans and strains at times, like an old car starting up. You MUST lift and lower the handle to get another shot out of the Kcup, so if you do an 8 oz., yes you can get another 8 ozs. out of the same Kcup. I do 16 ozs. in a large mug because Starbucks can be strong coffee, but, good at the 16 ozs. serving. The "clean me" light had gone off about two weeks ago, and I said, NO, NO, NO, I will not "descale" you as I had only used once a day for less than a month, so I put painter's tape over the "descale me" light-yes, it's that bright. I can continue to get my daily coffee fix WITHOUT descaling, as I use triple filtered water and I can't understand the "descaling" mentality so soon. I like the newer 5 pin coffee feed, however, the old "single" pin seemed to work fine. We shall see how long this one lasts before it gives me reason to disown the Keurig brand coffeemaker and go to a qualified competitor. Keurig REALLY needs to up their QC game if they want to maintain the market lead for Kcup coffeemakers. Keeping my fingers crossed, lol! ... show more

After one year brewer would start to cycle, put about an ounce of coffee in the cup then stop. Started sporadically then got worse. Call support, not much help, was reading from a script with no idea what she was asking me to do. After repeating everything I had already tried I got frustrated when she got to wanting to do a descale cycle. I was done at that point. And of course so was my warranty. What I did discover was if I put the K cup in the brewer and pushing on the edge of the cup on both sides push it firmly thru and on the lower needle. Then close brewer and brew as normal. Been doing this for about three weeks now with no repeat of the problem. Other than that it does make a much better cup of coffee than the old singe upper needle brewer. 5 stars especially if you use dark roast. ... show more

It’s beautiful to look at. It sits neatly on the counter. I am happy that I am able to adjust the brew temperature. I love that I am able to stronger coffe and that I can program my setting under “favorite” and don’t have to worry about it, However. I found couple of glitches. When I open to place the coffee pod, there is small a “not so bright” light. It doesn’t, work all the time due to poor contact. The 2nd issue I have is with the wi fi. I love it’s there. It worked well when I set it up. But, I can’t get it to synch with my phone now. But I can live without them. ... show more

    • Just a Little Disappointing

My previous Keurig bit the dust after an unfortunate descaling issue that essentially ruined the equipment (do not use third-party descale solutions is the lesson here I guess). Just received my new updated unit and discovered that they (of course) changed the type of reusable pod so that my previous set purchased on Amazon for quite an affordable cost will no long work. No warning on the advert (and only discovered it in very tiny print in the instructions). Guess what? You would think they could include one pod to get you at least started, but no. Of course, they are happy to sell you a new, updated and fancy reusable pod that will fit the new maching for $16.00 per unit. Sigh...if I didn't love coffee so much as a vital life-force ingredient, I'd send the whole kit-and-kaboodle back. Other than that, Keurig does kick out some pretty good coffee (especially with the option of using your own favorite local grind). One star removed for the lack of "Hey, Bob..we've changed the pod requirements without any notice" notice. ... show more

This is my third Keurig coffee maker and the upgrade is on point! All the normal functions that my old ones had, but with the added ability to connect to Wi-Fi somI can remote start my favorite cup of coffee using my phone the minute I wake up. It programs the brand and type of kcups you use and recognizes which is installed in the pot. You can customize the temp and strength to your taste, too. Having the ability to install the water reservoir on the side or in back really makes good sense and helps its best use of counter space. I’m really happy with it and hope it serves me as long and well as my previous models, which I passed along to family members when I just wanted a new coffee maker.
