Let me start with this ... K-Cups aren't may favorite way to make coffee. However, they are easy, fast and consistent and that's a tradeoff I'm willing to make most of the time. There is a lot to like about this K-Mini Mate coffee maker. First it has a narrow (but sort of long) footprint. As long as you have a deep spot it doesn't take up much counter space. I like the modern, sleek look too. Part of that long footprint is a large water reservoir (50 oz I think). That big reservoir means fewer fill ups. While I like that this machine offers 3 sizes of pours, like other k-cup machines choosing the larger size just waters down the coffee a bit. However, this k-cup machine has a "strong brew" button that actually compensates for that a bit. That said, one of the reasons K-cups aren't my favorite way to make coffee is that I long a VERY strong cup of coffee. I can get that from a drip pot in an number of ways (more coffee, specialty blends, etc). In this maker if I want it strong I'll look for a k-cup that has a strong coffee but there is limited selection as most of my local roasters don't make k-cups and I haven't had great experience with reusable k-cups in the past. Alternatively I can make the smaller size and press the strong brew button. Then make a second so I have a big enough serving for my tastes. Generally speaking, you already pay a premium for K-cups so having to use multiple for one serving increases the overall costs. I haven't tried the brew over ice button so I am not going to comment on it. I don't typically drink iced coffee, but I appreciate having the option for guests. My last comment is that I really like that this will fit various sized cups ... up to just over 7 inches tall. So I can use my morning mug or a larger travel cup for the car. Overall, I'm really happy with this K-Mini Mate. It looks great. It makes it fast and easy to make a consistent cup or two of coffee. The various size and strong brew buttons as well as allowing the use of cups up to 7 inches tall offer good versatility too. ... show more

I was disappointed to find out that, the porcelain coffee mug is not included as illustrated. Each coffee maker has a matching coffee mug. Since the keurig K-Mini is expensive, it's the least thing not to include. If i keep it, I'll feel that something's missing, although the size is good, and i like the design, I'm still not liking the deceptive marketing angle. ... show more
