    • Surprisingly good coffee!
I owned the original Keurig years ago, but the k-cups were too dang expensive so I went back to pour-over (better flavor, not bitter). I bought a K-mini back around 2018 for when my sister would visit, but never used it much. While traveling and in a hotel that did NOT have a coffee maker in the room (why?) I bought an Instant Pot version which was very good, solid machine - the coffee flavor was decent but not the best, and I still like that little machine. All of that said, I have some models to compare this one with - I bought this one because I do like a good flat white, and I'm down with making espresso on the stove, but given my hectic job I typically have to make coffee in between or during conference calls, so something faster is ideal. I was very attracted to the "shot" and "iced" option on this model in particular, and since it was a great price at the time, I decided to go for it and try this model out. I wouldn't have bought this if it wasn't on sale. I was not disappointed - it makes a great cup of coffee when using store-bought k-cups. I prefer just one brand, and while it's not as good as the pour over, it's very full flavored (I'm a coffee fanatic, can't live without the stuff easily) and VERY good for when I'm in a hurry. It makes a stronger cup of coffee overall, which I like. Also, it's very narrow and doesn't take up counter space, which I definitely appreciate. I tried out the "shot" option - it does what it says it does, and I had an excellent (and much cheaper) flat white, so as far as I'm concerned - given the flavor and the shot option alone - this unit is a keeper. I already had a milk frother that I prefer, so I can't attest to the one sent with the kit - it will be a good backup for the one I have. This Barista Coffee combo is my new favorite thing. Small, and looks great, but beyond that, it makes the easiest, fastest, most convenient cappuccino EVER! The milk frother makes it perfectly warm and perfectly foamy. I haven’t had any issues with leaking, all the lids and pieces fit, it is shiny and beautiful and the coffee is so good, I will never eat again. ... show more

I love this Keurig! The multiple functions are so helpful and the frother works great. Make sure to use only distilled water in it so it doesn't collect mineral deposits. I've had mine for well over a year and it still runs like new.

This little k-cup coffee maker is awesome!! Fast and the coffee is hot! Love the hot shot option. No strong option and I prefer a richer brew so I either use the hot shot option in conjunction with a cup of coffee or add an espresso to it to make it richer. I have zero complaints about this little machine. I didn’t actually need a far father, but it’s very nice that it came with one. I love gadgets! It works very well, again no complaints at all. Same noise level as any other Keurig I’ve ever owned. I think it does make a nice cup of coffee, like I said, I just prefer a stronger brew! I need to add water to this a little bit more often than my previous Keurig, which crapped out a few months ago. I tried to offbrands to make my Keurig K cups, and they both were so ridiculously subpar that I decided just to go back to Keurig. I can fit most of my travel mugs under it when you remove the tray, a few tall ones simply don’t fit, but I can tip them. All in all I highly recommend! As many reviewers have said, the frother didn’t work right out of the box. I took a chance because I figured those defective ones should have been pulled from the market. But I immediately contacted Keurig, they sent replacement quickly. I do love the new barista system! So convenient and quick for a wonderful cup of coffee. The frothing milk added to the coffee made it more satisfying that I can drink just one cup a day. I do use a larger mug to get the most out of the pod. I tested, 12oz vs 8oz tastes about the same in my opinion. So instead using two pods, i cut down to one. Having the choice to brew different oz is a very nice feature.     • I want honesty and respect from big businesses.
This machine stopped working at 14 months. I called to determine if it was covered under warranty. The customer service agent sent me a prepaid mailing label for me to send the machine back and said when it was received they would ship me a replacement. After a couple of weeks I called to find out where my replacement was in shipment. They said the coffee maker was 2 months out of warranty would not send me a new coffee maker and would send me back my non-working machine. While the machine didn’t work the frother did work and If not for their mistake I would still have the frother. Long story short, there was an error on Amazons side that caused their Asurion insurance I purchased not to work so they issued a credit that would not cover a replacement of the same value…just the coffee maker not the frother. ***I use the frother when my granddaughter comes to visit…a special time for us. I am an honest and giving person and don’t like to be treated in a callus and disrespectful manner. I will purchase a replacement coffee maker AND a frother. ... show more
