It’s a little bit flimsy To handle nearly fully extended. Once the supports are in use, it is definitely sturdy enough. The telescoping of the rod, is very smooth, it doesn’t wiggle or get too flimsy as you adjust it. But anything over about 5 Foot wide, You absolutely want to use the third Support Fixture. If you are going to be using nearly the full extension like I am, you may want to order another support bracket and split the difference on the Center. Just kind of keep it supported a little bit. Even with fairly lightweight curtains, there’s a little bit of a bow. The smaller rod diameter makes it very easy to fit literally any type of curtain easily. I don’t really have any complaints at all, and I definitely did get my moneys worth out of it, so I will take that as a win! ... show more

These are great for the price! I ended up buying another one for a different room. I had to use the middle anchor piece to support the weight of the drapes (they are heavy blackout curtains). I needed the extension piece for the larger windows. Note: you need to unscrew the extension piece from the decorative end cap and replace with the extra rod and then the extension goes between to the two main pieces (if you need to use all three piece pieces). Also, make sure you don’t lose the little clear buffer piece to insert into the extension rod... that helps keep the rod sturdy and from sliding too much. Excellent value. I will continue to repurchase this item as I make my way around the house. ... show more

I didn't want to spend a lot of originally why I chose these. I didn't realize, but they are SUPER EASY TOO INSTALL. All you need is a hammer. They even print you a right angle ruler to use. Great buy!

This product was only $20 and it does feel like that. For some odd reason, I was sent TWO so instead of the 3 hooks provided, I used 4 for additional sturdiness.
