  • Quality materials and easily extends.
Color: Black Size: 72-144" Pattern Name: Curtain Rod
Recieved on time and in great condition. I'm writing this review to update on the linkage to extend to 144". The other reviews say it will not extend but it is easily extended by putting the smaller into the middle between the two larger diameter rods and moving the end piece. Pictures explain it better as it took me a minute to figure it out. Will finish review after some time... ... show more

  • Only lasted ONE day outside!!
Color: Black Size: 37-72" Pattern Name: Curtain Rod
Great curtain rod; bad brackets; cheap screws; not sturdy enough for outdoors. That pretty much says it all, but I will elaborate... I really liked the way these looked when they arrived, and was looking forward to hanging my new outdoor curtain panels on my patio. Well, after struggling with trying to install the brackets without stripping the heads on the really cheap included screws (yes, I predrilled), I was starting to worry about the quality. Unfortunately, my worries about quality were founded... after finally getting two rods installed (one on each side of my patio) and hanging my lightweight outdoor curtains, the first time the wind kicked up a little bit BOTH rods came crashing down within an hour of each other. Apparently, the brackets have a common weak spot because two of the four brackets broke off at the exact same place (just above the curved part at the set screw). On the upside, the two rods held up just fine even after falling 10' and hitting the concrete below. IF you are planning to use these rods outdoors, you may want to look elsewhere. Or at the very least, I'd recommend purchasing different brackets and using higher quality screws before potentially wasting a lot of time only to watch it all to fall down the first time the wind blows. ... show more

  • Horrible :(
Color: Black Size: 72-144" Pattern Name: Curtain Rod
Just a terrible product. Bought heavy outdoor curtains to keep evening sun off of our newly built 25' x 30' back patio. We have gusts of north winds that blow directly onto our patio, so heavy curtains were important. Even filling the bottom hem of the curtains with rock to keep them stationary, these cheap poles were not made well enough to hold them and they were CONSTANTLY falling onto the ground. Our beautiful curatins became filthy after so many falls into soil and puddles, and removing all the rock to wash them was not an easy option. After many failed attempts to tighten the set screw to hold the poles in place on each hook, we gave up and had to resort to using two plastic zip ties crossing at each hook and they havn't fallen again. I am so sorry to say, but I cannot recommend these at all, nor would I purchase them again. ... show more

  • Great
Color: Black Size: 72-144" Pattern Name: Curtain Rod
Love the look, exactly as advertised. I put this up myself which is always challenging but it wasn't horrible. I set the rods to around a 110" with no issues. If you use it with just the two end rods and not the middle rod for extra length you won't need to install the center bracket but I had to. I'm in a rental so I didn't want to use the anchors to make larger holes than necessary and no issues with securing everything. I would recommend! ... show more

  • Fairly appealing curtain rod mired by awkward installation
Color: Black Size: 37-72" Pattern Name: Curtain Rod
The curtain rod itself works well, it's very sturdy and easy to assemble and disassemble. There are two ends of the rod, one with a smaller diameter than the other and to mount it you simply put each end of the curtain on each piece of the rod and then slide them together. I have the rod set to about 40 inches and the curtain has no chance of falling. Installation is not as easy as it should be. As you can see from the pictures, the top screw hole is not accessible in a straight line from the front of the mount: the curtain rod hook gets in the way. This makes inserting the top screw on the hook difficult since it must be done at an angle. This normally isn't much of a problem, but the screws themselves are very poor quality. I easily stripped the top screw while drilling it in at an angle I mounted the hooks directly into some studs, so I did not use the drywall screws, but they also seemed to be pretty cheap and poor quality. If purchasing this curtain rod, I would recommend purchasing your own screws and drywall hooks, at least for the top screw holes. For reference the mount screws are ~1/8" (that was the size of the drill bit I used when pre-drilling the stud holes). Good curtain rod and hooks, but installation with provided hardware was awkward. The product could easily be improved by extending the base of the mount by about an inch to provide easy and direct access to the screw holes. ... show more

  • Flimsy rods
Color: Black Size: 72-144" Pattern Name: Curtain Rod
These would not work for my application because the rods are too flimsy to support the weight of the fabric. My outdoor curtain panels are 108" long and these rods sagged in the middle when opened to their maximum width. Additionally, there are three different sized rods which telescope, and as a result, curtain rings get hung up on the transition. As a couple others have mentioned, you will need to purchase proper screws, as the screws supplied are inferior. I would not recommend this product. ... show more
