I got this Kenmore S300 for cleaning our main bathroom. When we remodeled, I made the poor choice of black matte tile and black grout, which shows EVERYTHING. And our hair products leave oily smears on the tile that I have to scrub with the swiffer mop forever and it still doesn’t come off. One pass with this on high steam and all of the hair products were wiped away and they literally look brand new. I couldn’t believe it, as I had been fighting this battle for years. Our bathroom is small so I haven’t had any issue with cord length, and it’s easy enough to maneuver within the small spaces of the bathroom. I’ve been using it weekly on the bathroom and entryway tile floors. The mop heads are easy to toss in the washer and hang to dry before using again. There’s no smell, no need to buy refills, etc. I’ve been using distilled water since we have such hard water, so it’s been holding up well. Highly recommend for cleaning smaller areas and dark floors.

The steam function does such a good job actually sanitizing instead of just pushing dirt around, noticed my floors looking and feeling so much cleaner compared to just using a regular mop and bucket. having 2 modes is such a nice feature too, gives flexibility depending on how deep a clean you need that day, whether it's a quick pass or something more thorough for spots that need extra scrubbing. the XL water tank is great as well, means I can get through the whole house without needing to constantly refill mid clean. the swivel steering makes maneuvering around furniture and tight corners so much easier too, doesn't feel clunky or hard to control like some mops can be. the LED headlights are such a smart little addition as well, actually helps spot missed dirt or grime especially in dimmer areas, small detail but genuinely useful. works great on both hardwood and tile too, didn't have any issues with it being too harsh or leaving residue behind. genuinely such a solid upgrade from a traditional mop and bucket setup. would recommend, 10/10 for making floor cleaning feel so much more effective

Some of the reviews are for a different model as there is no scrubbrush and the steam feature it meh on the current one. So this review is for model SM2070 (red and black). So make sure you check the right reviews for the one you are wanting. -It came in well packaged in perfect shape. -The assembly instructions were, well, fairly non-existent. It was mostly a 6 language warning sheet with a few sentences on use. I mean it is not hard to figure out and use, if you have used one before, if you haven't you may want to look some things up. -It does seem well made with the materials being sturdy and the joints clean and strong. -It is VERY light weight and easy to maneuver around. The hook on the back is even sturdy enough to hold it. I had a few that either had no way to hang them or when they did the hook was not strong enough to hold the weight of the mop. -The head does swivel nice and smooth, a lot more so than the other half dozen steam mops I have tried. -It does heat up much faster than others. -The steam output on the other hand is barely enough to wet the pads. I have had steam mops that will soak the floor and some that will barely steam. This one is much closer to the not enough steaming end. -It does spin well and doesn’t lag/hesitate and in doing so it is in a way self propelled, which is kind of neat. -Although I would not trust it to “scrub” anything as it glides too quickly over a floor. I mean if you hold it in a spot sure eventually it will clean it, but so will erosion…eventually. It cleans a spot about as well as a reusable wet swifferlike mop head. -The reusable pads are well made and much sturdier than others we have used but they do not hold much. As in you will need to pre-clean an area/room first. Just sweeping and vacuuming a room first was kinda able to get a 5 by 8 area clean…Ish. Whatever the vacuum missed for dog hair and sand granules though just got slid around. -I am not sure if it is the type of pads or lack of power but it does NOT clean uneven areas well. Meaning tiled linoleum or wood. Straight linoleum or concrete it did ok. -At the current price of about $120 I would have to say you are definitely just paying for the name though. As there are much cheaper options that may even do better. If you are just looking for chemical free scrubbing/sanitizing and are ok cleaning the area ahead of use AND only on solid linoleum or concrete this may work out well for you. I guess with a name brand like this I just expected more.

So, I owned one of those fancy Samsung "mop robots" for awhile, that would tootle around the house and "mop" the floors for you, using pads very much like the ones this steam mop uses. The concept was great, the execution was poor. I also owned a push steam mop similar to this one (but with triangular pads), and again - the concept was good, but the execution was poor. The triangular pad would not stay on the mop, making trying to use it a frustrating experience. Aside from the pad problem, using it felt like a workout because you had to push so hard just to get it to produce steam. Great news! This steam mop from Kenmore is completely different. It heats up in well under a minute, the motorized spinning pads help pull it along, and cleaning my tile floors is so much easier. One of the biggest selling points for me is that it cleans really well using only water. I'm sensitive to the smell of many cleaning products, so being able to skip chemicals is a huge bonus. It does a great job on everyday dirt and grime, and the spinning pads take care of stuck-on messes without requiring a lot of scrubbing. We have REALLY hard water where I live, and so I always add a bit of vinegar or citric acid into any water I use in an appliance to avoid calcification building up too fast. I did the same with this, and I think it just made the mop work even better. The long cord, large water tank, and washable pads make it practical for cleaning multiple rooms without constantly stopping. The LED lights are also surprisingly useful for spotting areas I would have otherwise missed. It's well built, easy to maneuver, and feels like a quality product. While I still use a regular mop for an occasional deep clean, this has become my go-to for keeping my floors looking clean and shiny between those bigger cleanings. Definitely worth the money.

This steam spin mop does an excellent job on my tile floors. It has both high and low steam settings. The low setting worked well for most of the floors and the high setting was perfect for a few stubborn spots. It performs much better than the stick steam mop I was using before and is much easier on my back. I was surprised at how lightweight it is. The mop was easy to assemble. Once assembled it feels durable. The cord is long enough to cover a large area without constantly stopping to move to a new outlet. Only water is needed to operate it. The instructions specifically say not to use any type of cleaning fluid. The washable and reusable cleaning pads are convenient because there are no disposable pads to run out of or replace. I am satisfied with the quality and the cleaning results from this steam spin mop. It is a solid choice if you want a corded steam mop that is easy to use and effective on tile and other hard floors.

Got done steaming my floors n very thin area rugs ( as was shown on pics could do) does NOT CLEAN any muddy prints or mud or dirt or anything off carpets as what was shown so not accurate there you would have to get a carpet cleaner with rolling brushes for that. It did steam. Water container smaller than normal but the steam is very fine so dries floor quickly so I would say steams hard floors and tile ONLY. So it’s ‘ ok’ for what it is
