Works. The fridge part has drawers that may take up too much room but are humidity-controlled crispers and a deli drawer. The freezer is nice. The delivery people did unpack it and take the packing away and plug it in. They did not install the handles and I couldn't do it myself, so I had the factory send someone out. I think I will like it but we'll see when I have a lot in there. ... show more

What a nightmare! We purchased this refrigerator because it was a Kenmore/Sear product. We been buying Kenmore products for three decades and rarely had problems. We purchased the refrigerator, haul away and installation from Amazon. Day of delivery: 1) refrigerator came WITH NO DOOR HANDLES. 2) after several hours we noticed that the freezer portion of the refrigerator worked BUT the bottom (main) portion did not work. After several hours ALL OUR DIARY supplies got soiled and had to thrown AWAY, everything we put in the refrigerator. 3) next morning, there were 2 inches of water in all the trays. What the hell!, plus warm air!! .4). We called Amazon and wanted a replacement. After a long conversation, they told me to call Kenmore Repair Service. After numerous attempts we were able to schedule a repair service with Kenmore 5) now, this refrigerator is about 3 days old. Waiting. On the day the repair person came, their representative called me and said that we have to PAID FOR THIS REPAIR!!! After a long discussion and major complaining on my part, we were not charged. 6) The repair person’s recommended that we get a replacement and assisted us with Amazon because they (Amazon) said it has to be repaired. The repairman indicated that there is so much problems, it would not be feasible to repair it. For example, refrigerator Main Unit is broken. Instead of the refrigerator blowing cold air, the heater blows and melts the ice, in the freezer, plus no door handle. Plus in the morning we had tons of water on the floor. I requested a replacement and refund on June 28th. They said no refund until they received the refrigerator On July 6th , they came to pick up the refrigerator. We received no refund ! After numerous email and automated phone messages. NOTHING! Then I finally got a “live person” on the phone. Apparently an Amazon customer service representative from South Africa. Extremely helpful and professional. So after 7 days I received my refund BUT THEY DID NOT REFUND ME for the installation and haul away. Why? Ps. It was the worst experience and had to live in ice chests. I needed to keep some of m medicine cold after a recent open heart surgery. ... show more

Working well so far. Needed 24+ hours to get to temperature. Wanted to change doors to open on other side but discovered that 2 screws were stripped. Not sure if this was during manufacture or unit had been returned and was then sold as new.

I downgraded when I bought this frig vs my GE french door model. I hated the freezer drawer as my hands would freeze moving things around, unburying lost items and bending over. I am so happy w this fridge. Price was perfect and it’s big not apt style. I actually improved my daily life for 1/3 the cost.
