Elastic around the opening makes putting on and taking off a quick and easy chore. Toe box is slightly decreased from their predecessor which was superior and more comfortable. Installed “toe savers” to protect from rubbing through the material by toenails. Simply good and not expensive.

I love Bruno Marc boots and shoes. The fit is always perfect. They are always beautifully made and comfortable. I have never been disappointed until now. I really wanted what I saw in the picture, that beautiful pale grey to match one of my shirts. Alas...these are a darker grey, almost a charcoal. They couldn't be farther from the grey in the image. Don't get me wrong. They are very nice boots. I just wanted the pale grey they seemed to be. There is no place to return them from in my small town so I guess I am going to just keep them.

Comfort : Not perfect, but very few shoes are, and some take a while to break in. Might have nixed the one star but that's because I'd rarely give a 5 on comfort for anything other than more expensive airsole running shoes or really soft loafers, so as far as this kind of shoe goes it's basically as high as it gets for most in its class. Wore it all day since it arrived including taking it off then putting it back on when sitting for long enough, and it hasn't broken in at all. I've had real and synthetic leather shoes that broke in sooner but there's a reason why I prefer suede loafers or running shoes for walking around in an urban environment. Support : Really nice ankle support, and for a shoe that isn't wide fit, at least going up to a 9.5 while wearing thicker socks didn't have the width too tight. Craftsmanship : Nothing out of place but nixed one star because the word 'craftsmanship' coupled with a perfect score makes it sound like I got it from a shoemaker in Metro Manila's main business district where they just stop short of literally making the shoes around my feet.

Overall it’s a pleasing looking shoe. But the tip of the shoe narrows too much and squishes my toes together **UPDATE** They have the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I do love their variety of shoes that they carry. They’re also comfortable, if you’re looking for a shoe that’s dressy and casual without breaking the bank. These are the SHOES!!! Cannot stress enough how amazing their customer service team is!!
