Our new range has the controls in the front. So no back sticking up. So no clock easily visible. So I went looking. This clock picks up the colors in the counter top and accents. I was a little worried about the size, an eight in would have fit a bit better, but it looks fine. Best of all, I can read the time from anywhere in the kitchen and family room. We have the 10" clock and the large white numbers AND WHITE HANDS make it very easy to read from across the room. The reason I stressed white hands us seems most clocks might have white numbers but dark hands. These are easy to see.
