I recently purchased an XL inflatable dog cone collar for my pit mix, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Transitioning from the standard cone provided by our vet to this inflatable option has been a game-changer for both my dog and me. Initially, my dog was quite apprehensive about the conventional plastic cone; it seemed to scare her, and she would constantly scrape it against everything in sight. Have a hound πΆ that I fostered and she had gotten spayed. She was able to get to incision. Had to order next size up due to longer nose. Worked great then for two weeks. Better than plastic ones. She liked sleeping on it, was like a pillow. You do need to use dog collar on pillow inside donut or dog was able to get off. Would order again.

My dog was spayed (12 lbs) I bought medium donut and it worked perfect and she was able to sleep and get around with easeβ¦. More soft and comfy than the hard plastic cone from the vetβ¦. Medium size she was not able to reach her incision

My dog needed a cone; she got a hard plastic one from the vet. She kept running into the wall with that one and managed to get it off while unattended one day. I got her this pillow-type one and she seemed to like it better. She couldn't chew on it. It made a little pillow for her. It was easy enough to blow up. My complaint would be that it started to leak air a few days in. I kept refilling the air (which was kind of gross at this point because I have to put the thing so close to my face and get dog hair all over me). It'd last for the day and I'd have to refill the air in the morning. Luckily, she healed and didn't need to use it long. If I need to use it again, I'll find the leak and try to patch it. I also like how easy it is to store when not using, especially compared to the large plastic cone.
