I have been cleaning my pool filter for years using the garden hose. This device is a game changer for me. It makes cleaning the filter so much faster and easier. I don't know how long it will last, but I have used it about 5 times in the last two weeks and it is still working perfectly. It does not leak, it has strong pressure, it turns on and off like it is supposed to and I love it. I highly recommend it. You will get a little wet because the pressure shoots the water out and it splashes off the filter, but it is so worth it.

This has made cleaning our pool filter a little more efficient; however, I wish it had a bit more pressure out of the nozzle.

Yes, I know this is weird, but the on off switch on this thing is amazing. Simple to push and it really shuts off. No leaking. It is easy to attach to hose end and creates an amazing amount of pressure. Cleans our pool filters, patio, patio cushions, tire rims etc. Hubby though this would be useless, but it gets used all around our house. Turn it on super LOW, it works good for rinsing soap out of long hair dogs too. Solidly constructed. Durable plastic.

I had higher expectations for the Katikies Pool Cartridge Filter Cleaner Tool, but unfortunately it didn’t work well for my setup. Using a standard household water supply, it just doesn’t create enough pressure to effectively clean my hot tub filter. The idea behind the tool is good, but in practice it didn’t deliver the performance I was hoping for. Because of the low pressure, it wasn’t much more effective than just using a regular garden hose. Returning it would have cost almost as much as the product itself, so I ended up keeping it—but honestly, it’s not very useful for my needs. Overall, it might work better with higher water pressure, but with a typical setup, it fell short.

I made it a point to leave a review on this thing because I read so many bad reviews about the leaking and went back and forth on it, but I sure am glad I bought it! It’s pretty good at cleaning filters and other things. It’s also satisfying to use. I like that there’s a dial to adjust flow and it actually works. About the leaking, it does a little bit where the hose meets the handle. But everything I attach to the end of the hose leaks right there, so it’s really not enough to bother me.
