Super happy with this combo. The reel is smooth and just how I like it. The only thing I would've done differently is go with the short version. The 7'+ one is a little longer then I would like for smaller spots, but that is my fault. I am catching a lot of fish and the pole is holding up well to the abuse. Great job KastKing

Extremely reliable combo that is perfect for all levels of angler. I have been fishing this combo hard (at least twice a week, multiple hours each time) for about 6 months and it has held up through rain, snow, ice and everything in between. It casts very reliably and is very light compared to similar reels. The drag could be a bit higher but I was able to reel in a 26+ pound aggressive carp with it and it performed flawlessly. Pick up this combo and you won’t regret it. Excellent value for the money.
