First time using the combo with some 50lb test in a sheepshead hole and it snaps about 3" down from where the two halves connect. Don't waste your money

Tip came busted, screwed up my whole fishing excursion. Seems like a good product but someone at the distributor is going around breaking the tips off. Tip also wasn't in the box it came with meaning it was broken before being packaged. Reel is awesome though, making me second guess sending it back to keep the fishing trip alive.
