This Gun Safe for Pistols by KASABLANK is fairly impressive for secure storage while still focusing on accessibility. The multiple unlocking methods (fingerprint, PIN, and key) offer flexibility, and the quick fingerprint response is quite convenient for fast access when needed. The compact size also makes it practical for keeping on my nightstand and I'm planning to purchase another for my vehicle. The LCD display provides helpful information at a glance, including temperature and humidity details. Inside, the soft lining helps keep my handguns protected from scratches or wear, and the interior keepss both of them organized and secure. The weighted construction gives it a solid, durable impression. The steel build feels sturdy, while the compact design makes it versatile enough to move between locations if needed. Overall, I am quite impressed with the functionality, durability, versatility, and affordability of this gun safe. So far, it has delivered well in convenience, portability, and security. I am highly likely to purchase again, and absolutely recommend!

The KASABLANK Gun Safe for Pistols is excellent quality for the price. The fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate, and having a PIN and key as backup is very convenient. The steel construction feels solid, and it fits two pistols with magazines easily. I also like the LCD temperature/humidity display and the interior light. Easy to set up and very secure. Highly recommended!

I bought this biometric safe to replace a combination and keyed safes. The safe is large enough to accommodate my full size 9mm and 22 long pistols plus two clips for each pistol. The three complaints I have are (1) the set button is located where a moving pistol can trigger the reset and lose all settings, (2) setting the fingerprint is more difficult than first expected and may take several tries to activate, also opening with the fingerprint can be very fussy. I found if you hold your finger too long on the sensor it will not recognize, it appears it only takes a light touch. (3) Resetting the entries removes all entries, both combination and fingerprint, so if you are trying to follow the instructions and push the set button too long you will have to reenter everything. Otherwise for the price it appears to be a great value.

This very sturdy and well-padded gun safe provides three ways to unlock - via a fingerprint, manual entry numeric code, or a key. Fingerprints, of course, are the easiest and quickest way to open the safe and this worked flawlessly for me...the safe allows up to 99 different prints, so multiple people (or multiple fingers on the same person) will unlock the safe quickly. It also comes with a USB for charging and an anchoring steel cable to ensure the safe stays where it should. It easily fits a .45 handgun and some ammunition (or other valuables). Setting up is extremely easy and the instructions that are provided are clearly written. Perhaps most importantly, the safe is made of sturdy high-impact metal - appears to be 20 or 18 gauge - and so nobody is getting into this safe without a key, numeric code, or fingerprint. Highly recommend!

This gun safe was recommended to me a couple of weeks ago, and considering the price, I decided that I'd give it a chance. And I haven't been disappointed. The safe functions flawlessly and properly. It opens a combination or fingerprint (or a key), and the fingerprint scanner works great, as others have mentioned. There is a good amount of room inside the safe, and it's something I'd recommend to people with children. Someone could probably pry it open with some sturdy tools, but for its purpose, this safe is a good choice. One of the other reviewers mentioned that the reset button doesn't erase thumbprints. In my case, that isn't a problem, as I don't plan to give this away or sell it. But it might be something that the company would consider fixing with a firmware update. This safe is newer and much more efficient than others I have used, and especially for the price, I was very impressed!

This safe was great at the beginning but then it was able to open with anybody's fingerprint. My cousin even put his elbow to the fingerprint scanner and it opened. I have children and I had to take the batteries out just to make sure they are safe. I would not recommend this one.

Good quality, hard to program fingerprints

We purchased this safe for a friend and they were impressed that it had everything you need. It includes batteries for the fingerprint and keypad access and keys for the lock. It also includes a USB power cable as a backup if the batteries fail. All three ways for opening the safe work flawlessly. They were able to secure it to a table with the cable lock. They said it fits both guns in it with extra space. Nice quality safe at a reasonable price.
