This gun safe was recommended to me a couple of weeks ago, and considering the price, I decided that I'd give it a chance. And I haven't been disappointed. The safe functions flawlessly and properly. It opens a combination or fingerprint (or a key), and the fingerprint scanner works great, as others have mentioned. There is a good amount of room inside the safe, and it's something I'd recommend to people with children. Someone could probably pry it open with some sturdy tools, but for its purpose, this safe is a good choice. One of the other reviewers mentioned that the reset button doesn't erase thumbprints. In my case, that isn't a problem, as I don't plan to give this away or sell it. But it might be something that the company would consider fixing with a firmware update. This safe is newer and much more efficient than others I have used, and especially for the price, I was very impressed!

This gun safe works exactly as promised. The fingerprint scanner is fast and reliable, and I like having the triple unlock options—key, code, or fingerprint. It has enough space for two pistols and magazines, plus the interior light makes it easy to use at night. Setup was simple, and the USB/USB-C backup is a smart feature in case the batteries die. Sturdy enough to keep kids and unwanted hands out. For the price, it’s a solid and practical choice!

This safe is sturdy and well-built, and I like having multiple ways to open it. The fingerprint reader is quick once set up, and the PIN backup works smoothly. The temperature and humidity display is a nice touch for peace of mind. Fits my handgun securely and the size makes it easy to keep by the bed or in the closet.

The media could not be loaded. This multiple unlock-method pistol safe works as advertised. It has some shortcomings, but I have decided to give it 4 stars because I don't think it's unworthy of consideration, especially at this very modest price point. The biggest potential problem is that the reset-button doesn't function 100%. Pressing the reset-button successfully resets the numerical-button-code, but my thumb-print was not erased from memory, even after many attempts. This is a problem if you want to restore the factory-settings so that someone else can use this pistol safe without having to worry about you still having access to the safe, and, so you don't have to worry about being accused of theft if the new-user claims that something they had in the safe was stolen. I think its important to have realistic expectations about the level of security this sort of safe provides. It won't deter anyone who is determined to break into it, especially if they have sufficient time and privacy to defeat the lock. It's vulnerable to brute force methods such as hammers, pry bars, and cut-off wheels. It's only intended to successfully stop honest people and very young children from gaining access to your pistol (or other valuables.) Even pre-teen children, if they have sufficient curiosity, determination, tools, and crucially, lengthy unsupervised time, could, eventually, gain access by unauthorized methods. Furthermore, this pistol safe beeps loudly, alerting anyone, in fact everyone within earshot, that you are punching in a code, or using the biometric scanner. You definitely want to put this pistol safe into "silent-mode" if you intend to retrieve your pistol surreptitiously, so as to not alert an intruder that you are in fact awake, aware of them, and in the process of retrieving your pistol. All you have to do is press and hold the No. 6 button for 5 seconds straight to toggle between silent and loud beep-mode. However, even with the buttons and biometric scanner muted, the lid makes a loud "popping open" sound when unlocked, so the only way to retrieve your pistol quietly is to hold one hand over the lid, while applying significant pressure precisely above the lock mechanism, as you unlock the safe, in order to dampen its noise and motion as it swings open. This could be difficult to remember, or execute, while in a state of dread, terror, or panic due to the exigent circumstances that make retrieving your pistol an unavoidable necessity. I am disinclined to deduct a star over this potential shortcoming because in my experience, this flaw is common to every pistol safe in this price range which I have encountered. Still a 4 star item in the context of these sorts of pistol safes.

I received this smart gun safe a few weeks ago, and it’s been a solid addition to my home and travel routine. The triple unlock feature—key, password, and fingerprint—gives me a reassuring level of flexibility, whether I’m half-awake at my bedside or need quick access in the car. The LCD display is clear and easy to read, and I appreciate the internal lighting for those late-night moments when I don’t want to fumble around in the dark. One thing I particularly like is the dual gun storage. I can store both my compact and full-size pistols securely, with room for a spare magazine or two. The safe feels sturdy, and the biometric fingerprint sensor is responsive—I tested it several times, and it recognized my print quickly every time. For example, I’ve used it on a road trip to keep my firearms secure while parked at hotels, and the portability made it easy to move from the car to the room without hassle. A consideration for some might be that the LCD clock only displays in 24-hour format, which could be an adjustment if you’re used to a 12-hour clock. Personally, I don’t mind the military time, but it’s worth mentioning for anyone with a strong preference. Overall, this safe checks all my boxes for security and convenience.

I like this safe. I would think of it more of a theft deterrent than a safe as I am sure it would be fairly easily broken into, but it is enough to delay someone getting into it or keep kids out of it. It was fairly easy to program and works really well. I was surprised at the fingerprint scanner working as well as it does, no opening with fingerprints that weren’t programmed and no issues with the ones that were. Setting an eight-digit pin for a combo is good as it makes it more difficult for people to figure out, however I wish I could use less numbers if I wanted to, I would prefer four or six. I really like the plug-in power backup in case you lose or don’t have access to the keys and the batteries die. Using a USB/USB-C common cable is a great idea as a last resort. All in all, I do like it and believe it is a good value for the price.
