I bought these lipos for my Traxxas Xmaxx. They come with Traxxas connectors which is perfect. They fit in the trays with room to spare. I put in a few pieces of foam for a snug fit. These are the second HOOVO lipo's that I purchased. I had such great luck with the 6s 6000mah that it was a no brainer to get (2) 4s for the Xmaxx. It's a very big and heavy truck and the HOOVO lipos provide great punch, power and runtime with the 6000mah. These have great internal resistance too, anywhere from 4-6milliohms measured on my charger (The lower the number the better!) Highly recommend. ... show more

I have two of the HOOVO 4S 6000mAh 60C batteries for my Avios Albatross HU-16 (1620mm) flying boat. I get 15+ minutes flight time (scale flying, no aerobatics) with 3.8V/cell remaining. Great battery giving plenty of time in the air. I definitely recommend HOOVO LiPo's!

These are cheap and work well. When discharged down to the factory default cutoff of 3.5v, my charger says it is putting back 7150-7300mAh back in (charged at 5amps). Edit 2-14-21 My charger shown in the picture went out on one of the channels so I returned it and got a new, different, higher quality one. I my new one shows only 6000mAh being put back in after several charge cycles. I believe my original charger was bad and wrong on several levels.... Edit 3-15-21 I had an accident today, I forgot to latch down one of the batteries. I flipped the XMaxx, and tried rocking it upright, and flop out came the battery. No major damage to the truck. Very surprised by the amount of layers used to make up the battery. ... show more

Good decently priced battery. Good 10awg wire for the main leads and the balance plug is also well made. I ran this in my 1/8 E buggy it performed well no problems keeping up with the other racers at the track I go to. It came well packed with two extra plug ends, Deans and XT60 connector, Always nice to get spare plugs :) The track I ran this battery at is pretty rough clay dirt with some big jumps and surprisingly it took the abuse pretty well. We'll see how long it lasts compared to some others I've used, only time will tell.. :) As for now, I could recommend this. ... show more

Does fit the Maxx very snug, but the balance lead being on the opposite side of the battery does make it a bit more difficult and its hard to get out being so snug in there. Just have to make sure you tuck down the balance lead and don't pinch the wires but other than that has been working great. Cells came storage charged 3.81 across all cells. Plenty of punch in the Maxx. ... show more

    • Swelling and 1 cell dead in less than 6 months.
I really like the Hoovo 3s batteries (have like 8 of them) the 4s batteries developed a bad cell in under 6 months and have swelled majorly. I would avoid these 4s batteries. $100 bucks down the drain for 2 of them. Always discharged and stored properly.
