The media could not be loaded. This carbon fiber pattern is gorgeous. My very first wrap, and I attempted wrapping my hood, alone. I did a ‘dry’ install, and learned that spraying the hood and underside of wrap with a solution ( like window tint) would have given me better results and added some ease in the installation. If I had a helper, prepped hood further, and used a solution to apply wrap, this project would have been brilliant! I’m going to re-order the same 5x6 foot length and go at it again! This time armed with what I’ve learned from this first attempt. I’ve yet to see any other wraps to compare this to, very impressed with this colour pattern, packaging and price in comparison to others. This is a great price for a great looking wrap. I’m debating on going with a lighter, almost silver coloured carbon fibre if they offer it. Loads of people thought it was a carbon hood until they spotted my creases up close . . I actually ripped the wrap in a spot and had to patch the 2 ft. X 2 ft. area with excess wrap and it damn near looks seamless! Advice: Clean underside of hood, clay bay areas to be wrapped first, use solution to ‘wet apply where applicable and use a heat gun with a helper to stretch the corners and edges. The adhesive does not stick to good to all corners or sides of item you are sticking it on. Plus the look is more dull than shiny like the pictures in the description.

I had a shop install film dry, I bought the film because it was cheep. Well paid for that! The photos are after 2 weeks!! The color has changed from black to silver and now is just looking 10 years old. The shop owner did a test on the film we had left 1 square was put on hood dry, another was put on wet, another was put on with a heat gun and last one was put on with Chemical guys tack solution. Results for all after a week and a half this same damage was on all test panels. Now I have to pay to replace with the shops quality film! Doesn’t pay to go cheap…😞 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've ordered this same product before, but it looks like they've made the product even better.....darker, shinier, more realistic. Instead of using it on my car , I went with wrapping my appliances!!!
