This couch has a lot of surprises. I got it to replace a $600 couch that I had for only two years, and so far this one feels more solid. The shocker to me was the backs have metal supports, so it you aren't worried about wood snapping if you accidentally lean back too far. I was a bit inpatient, but I waited 3 days before sitting on the couch. What is funny, I swear it is still inflating as the cushions are more filled out now that we are using it, then before when I had a "stay off the new couch" rule. Sure, it is low to the ground and if you are tall, the chaise lounges could feel real short, but for $189, I consider it a solid replacement. The other surprise for me was this couch has springs in the cushions themselves. I was expecting only memory foam that wouldn't have any other support. This sofa has a lot going for it. If you need a budget couch or just don't want to spend two times as much or even more, this is a great option. The color is a bit more gray for me, but that is better for me. I was originally expecting it to be a light brown. More gray works best for my family and my black lab. Overall, great product, great couch. ... show more

Assembly was not difficult. The sofa is just not comfortable at all. It is very low to the ground compared to other sofas and the cushions are very hard. There are no arm rests although in the pictures it appears there are. I have mine positioned against a wall because honestly the back of the sofa is very flimsy and I doubt it would hold up very long without the wall support. I should have spent a little more and purchased a better quality sofa! I would not recommend this sofa. It is not a good value even for the price you are seeing. Trust me… spend a little more and get something better. ... show more

    • Screw holes are stripped
The screw holes are stripped. Unless you but the repair kit from home depot, don't get this couch. It's lovely and soft. Very spongey. Just can't screw the mf together without that screw hole repair.
