I've used a lithium battery in my Harley Davidson Road King for years. My previous battery was made by Harley Davidson. They have since quit making them. A Lithium battery is almost essential for high compression engines. Plus they last a very long time. My research led me in the direction of Optima. My offroad vehicles have run Optima batteries for the last 25 years. Great quality. The Optima Quad30 orange top was a perfect fit. The benefit of the Powerlink cable allows you to always see the condition of the battery charge. The 800 cold cranking amps fires my bike right away. I'm very pleased with this battery and recommend. Don't let the price scare you. Most AGM batteries for this application cost around $200.00. You'll need to spend that money every 2 years just to avoid being stranded. My last lithium was 8 years old. I replaced it only because after 8 years, I wanted the comfort of knowing I have another 8 years of not being stranded with a dead battery. Besides, I'm 77 years old, I think I've bought my last battery. 😂 ... show more

I have this battery installed in my Harley Davidson Roadglide. It comes with everything you need to install it. I was able to play my 2 amplifier sound system for 45 minutes and the bike cranked right up. Great product!

    • Great performance, flexible connection options, and CPR is a great feature.
Perfect replacement for 2019 Harley Road Glide. Only needed the long thin pad to take up some of the extra space. Cleaned my wiring up significantly as I moved most of the accessory connections to the “back” set of terminals and left the main connections on the “front” terminals. The CPR dongle is easy to route and keep accessible without having to take the seat off to get to. Battery life is longer than the original lead acid it had for those times you want to play the radio in the parking lot and you don’t have to worry or panic about jump starting the bike when it finally dies as the CPR function just turns off the battery before it gets too low to not start. I bought this battery June 24, 2024. I went out this morning September 9, 2025 to start my bike and it is dead. I’m not dissatisfied with the battery but it does not hold up like they stated does..

    • Great till you actually need warranty service or CPR to actually work.
Battery failed after less than 2 years and CPR supplies just enough power to turn on the gauges. Worse yet, I had to contact Amazaon to start the warranty process which took several days and now I'm almost a week out with no resonse from OPTIMA. If I had just bought another brand I would actually be able to return it to a store and be back up and running the same day. Not exactly worth the $300 plus having to buy a special charger to be stranded without a battery for over a week. At the price of this thing you'd think warranty service would be a little more expedient than what I can get from a cheap battery at any auto store in the country. ... show more
