This little electric cooktop is so convenient. It heats up fast and you can use different types of pots/pans without worrying about damage. I love that it's portable and you can plug it in anywhere. For the price, it's a great investment.

This isn't for everyone. This is not better then your typical glass range installed in new homes for the past decades. Those large ranges are more powerful. With that said, this uses a standard outlet for power and not an appliance outlet. This can easily be stored, packed and taken with you. For our use, we sometimes need more burners for large meal cooking or when we are cooking something we rather not have to smell in the house for days we use it out doors or in the garage with. We can take it places to if we need to, but we haven't yet. The stove is well built and durable. I like that it doesn't use touch controls and uses good old knobs. Cooking outdoors and have heat or cold gloves on makes touch controls a pain. If you turn this up to full power on the larger burner, it will cook things at about 70% max heat our indoor range does. How long or how often do you use full heat? If you fall in my use case, you will love this stove. It makes a great backup too.

We have a large family and entertain quite often. This plugs into your outlet and can sit on your kitchen countertop. I so very much LOVE this product. It cleans super easy can be put away in your cabinet its very slender heats up super fast. You can also place this permanently into a countertop but for us we are using this for back up. I cant wait to try this for holidays when we have lots of things cooking at the same time

I finally got the time to try out this beautiful ceramic stovetop but was quickly disappointed because it was painfully slow to get it heat up fully. Started with the smaller one to boil about 3 cups of water in a saucepan and it took more than 15 minutes before it even starts to bubble. My regular electric top, the smallest one takes no more than 6-7 minutes to a full boil. Then I decided to try the larger one, well, it heats up a little bit faster due to its larger size and wattage but still nowhere near my conventional electric. Sad because I really love the unit. It is easy to clean, beautiful to look at even if I just leave it sitting around the kitchen counter. The no-frills knobs are pretty straightforward and easily laid out w/o being confused as to which, dials from 1-9 and has an 'H' for warning after use letting you know the surface is still hot to the touch. Needless to say I can't really use this because it takes a good amount of time to heat up. Maybe I'll use it as a spare if really had, for something that needn't any rush, or maybe it is perfect for a motor home or for camping - something that can be plugged in if you have a mobile power converter.
