Worth the price. Not crazy hard to assemble. Anondized paint seems to hold up, just concerned about replacement pulleys when they start to wear. Even has Springs for when you let go of weight quickly. Very nice piece.

Insane deal! This one is essentially the same as all the other ones on here. Not too bad to setup, I was able to follow the instructions - until I got to the pulleys, then I pulled up a youtube video of the same item sold by a different manufacturer. You basically just have to remove and replace the pulleys in a certain order while threading the line through. I used 3/8in x 3in Tapcon hex bolts to mount it into the concrete wall. To do this, I predrilled ascending sized holes with concrete bits up to 3/8, then used an impact driver on the bolt. Assembly will be much easier if you have a 10mm wrench and a 10mm socket on an impact driver, there are also a few 8mm nuts and bolts. Pulley is decently smooth, I took the advice from some other reviews and ordered some treadmill lube to put on the cables. ... show more

Amazing little system. Took a bit to put it all together like an ikea project but the instructions make quick work of it. It takes up hardly any room and I can do so much between my free weight sets. I anchored it to the studs which is a must. The pull action is really smooth. Use a graphite-type aerosol lubricant for the tracts. I live this system. ... show more

The movement with the cables (I did install them according the instructions per other reviewers feedback) is super smooth and it accommodated 1" plates I already had so I was able to get to work immediately after building. Everything works as it should, you get what you pay for, pieces are a bit cheap like the pulleys are plastic but they do have some sort of bearing in them. It's smooth but not super smooth. We'll be upgrading in the future but this is fine for what it costs

For the money i don't think you can beat it. I did buy bearing lubricant for all the pulleys to move smoother though. I would probably suggest using a 2x4 laterally attached to multiple wall studs instead of the single one that bracket is designed for. Just to spread the load out.
