For hardwoods or laminate flooring, this is fine. I wouldn't recommend for carpet as it's difficult to use. I purchased this to keep in our rv for easy quick clean up. It's very small and the length leaves you bent over while trying to vacuum. It's just ok.

I really needed an upgrade from my previous vacuum which was a flimsy Dirt Devil that had seen better days and had zero suction. I heard about this vacuum and figured I’d give it a fair shot and I am not disappointed! I’ve had it for a couple days now and I love how lightweight is it and how well is sucks up EVERYTHING! The setup was very easy and the attachments are easy to switch. I have two cats and it does well picking up the fur and litter left behind by them. The extra attachments are great for vacuuming surfaces like sofas and it was even able to suction the dust off the entertainment center! I strongly recommend this vacuum! ... show more

I thought this would be great for a quick pick up of dog hair but it consistently clogged and then it quit working altogether.

To be a good vacuum, I am looking for suction power, light weight and easy to use. This vacuum has it all. It can be converted from long to short handle. I particular like the rotary brush.     • Too hot for itself
Let me start with saying that the suction on this thing is amazing. And my star count would 100% go the other way if I was able to use it more than a few minutes at a time. The motor overheats and shuts down. Then won't start until about an hour later. One day when I had company headed over. I resorted to running it for a couple minutes, turning it off and putting the motor section of this thing in my fridge for 15minutes so my living room floor was clean. Also the plastic lock piece that holds the hose in place broke the first time I put it all together. If not for covid striking my household. This thing would have been sent back ... show more
