My first ukulele, and I cant put it down. I'm left handed, and the process for reversing the string order was quite painless (see Kala site FAQs). The included digital tuner is pretty handy, and very convenient. A beautiful bundle!

Purchased this tenor ukulele based on high recommendation of a friend who owns a Kala. We were both surprised to see that rather than closed tuning gears being installed on this ukulele, they used lesser quality open-geared ones. Open gears means a greater chance of grit interfering with and wearing down the gears. Otherwise I'm pleased with the sound. ... show more

This is my COVID new learning. I changed the strings out to low G. Having a good time with it! For the price and my beginning it's a good fit.

It is so beautiful. I got it for my husband and he loves it. He already knows guitar so he picked it up very quickly and plays to our little girl all the time. I’m no professional so I have no idea how seasoned players feel about its sound.
