Old school wire strippers are so "old school". This thing is a real time saver and does a much better job than traditional wire strippers. Strips the outer casing on Romex without putting nicks in the inner wire. Then you can strip the inner wire to a set length like 1/2 inch or many inches with no effort. Super-fast and so easy. Saw a demo on YouTube and glad I bought it. Saw similar ones reviewed that wore out fast. So I choose this one after seeing it reviewed on YouTube and hope is lasts but at this price it's worth eventually replacing because of the time and effort it saves.

A really cool gadget. It makes stripping wires effortless. There are really only two minor things I noticed as I used it. One, the mashing part for the connectors is right next to the cutter, and I have cut a couple of connectors in error. The other thing is the clear plastic guide to stop the wire. It should be a little bigger as the smaller wires can slip past it. On the whole, I am very pleased with the price and the performance.

Tested it on some stranded 12 gauge wire. Good clean cut with the cutter and easily stripped the insulation without nicking any of the strands of wire. Haven't had a chance to use it much at this point, but i looks like it will do a good job for what it was intended.

This was well worth the money for my auto wiring project. As an amateur off roader, this tool saved me a lot of irritation trying to strip the wire without cutting the wires. And it worked so quickly and easily. Worked on three different gauges of wire with no adjustment required.

I’m a professional dealer mechanic and do a lot of wiring jobs in tight spaces and this thing was a life saver. Makes quick work of wiring jobs and even has a crimp tool on it. Only gripe i would have is that very small gauge wires sometimes don’t self adjust well which sucks in tight spaces.

The only thing I would change on these is the backstop for the length of the strip. It is a bit flimsy and slips out of place too easy. Other than that these are good quality for low to medium use strippers.

I had been using cheap wire strippers for years and finally bought this. Why didn't I do this earlier. You can adjust the depth of the strip and it literally cuts that aspect of electric work in half. Solid product and nice to feel in the hands.
