This package arrives so well packaged (in double boxing, box within a box, with lots of packing tape to cut through) you would think you've received a Faberge egg! Instead, you've received a SINGLE (NOT a "set" as advertised) bar stool that is relatively easy to assemble (see photos of husband doing this while we sat on the deck having morning coffee). The stool is adequate, but seems a bit on the pricey, for what it is, if you're thinking about BUYING another to complete the "set" you thought you were ordering. Due to the extremely secure packing job or bar stool arrived with some remnants of the Styrofoam stuck to the cushion (pleather cushion?). I initially tried to use a towel with soap and water to get this off. When that didn't work I resorted to scratching it off. It wasn't too hard to scratch off. This bar stool actually looks fine under the kitchen counter and I like that it doesn't take up a lot of room because the couch is not far from the counter. If this had come as the SET, as advertised, I think it would have been well priced and would have given it five stars. As it is, I'm questioning whether to spend $70 to complete the "set" ordered. Price point seems a but high for what it is.

Easy to assemble, instructions were very easy & clear. There was some styrofoam that melted to the side of the seat, hoping it’ll come off without scratching the leather too much. It’s only ONE stool. The listing is quite misleading because it says barstools as in plural. But it does fit perfectly in my vanity, where I wanted to put it and it feels very sturdy. Doesn’t wobble. When I was putting the screws in, it did leave black marks on my fingers but it washes off just fine.

Overall a decent, if unremarkable stool. The pictures in the listing make it look better than it is. ASSEMBLY: The stool went together easily. One of the pieces that attaches to the seat was out of alignment and it was surprisingly easy to bend it back into place. I'm hoping that's not a sign of the strength of the stool. Most annoying was that one of the feet/levelers was missing. Fortunately I was able to find a different set (same screw diameter & thread size) at Lowe's. FUNCTION: The height is good/perfect for a standard counter. The seat cover is faux leather. The foam used feels stiff at first, and is pretty resilient as it seems to bounce back fully. However, I notice that when I sit on the stool, it feels good at first but the longer I sit, the more I continue to slowly sink until the foam is almost fully compressed and I feel like I'm practically sitting on the wood (or metal) beneath the foam. I'm 225lb (near the recommended limit) - perhaps someone lighter would not experience what I have. OVERALL: I feel the design could be a little better as the cross bars (that connect the two pieces containing the legs) were attached in a way that does not maximize structural strength. The materials in the seat are not high quality. The whole stool looks decent and works fine (for now), but I don't see myself sitting on this for much longer than a meal.

This is a decent barstool. It’s only one barstool though. It was easy to assemble. It’s fairly comfortable. Aesthetically it looks really nice. At the moment it seems pretty durable. A little pricey for one barstool.

This bar stool is counter height. The cushion is faux leather. The legs are metal. The instructions had photos and it was fairly easy to put together. It’s sturdy and looks nice. I do believe it is overpriced for one stool.

Ad often refers to "set", but there is only one in the box. Stool is nice, cushioned, backless stool. Will need set of 2 or more for most bar areas. comfortable, leather-like material. sits about the height of my kitchen island (says 24"). Recommend - just expect only one per box.

Very misleading and also, for that price I don’t think that’s realistic because people are going to see “set” and “stools” and believe they’re getting two l. Other than that I love the stool it’s light weight sturdy and comfy. Just wish it was a set of two.
