UPDATE #2: Well here I go again. The 2nd clock I got and this time the "F" tempeture stops at 32.0 degrees and won't go any lower which is ok by me. I did take it in the house and the temp slowly climbed to 77 degrees "F". I might add that I keep this clock in the garage and it gets mighty cold in there as I live just outside Detroit. I know, I know that's my fault. I really don't care what the temp is. I can figure that out just by walking to the garage. I still recommend this clock 100% UPDATE: Yesterday i got my new alarm clock. This time i read the instructions on how to change the temp from C to F. This time I read the instructions and realized how stupid I was. When i received the first clock which was over a year ago I did not have the instructions. This time I read the instructions and how easy it was. I'm sorry if I mislead anyone about my past comment. I am honest and stupid at the same time. Bruce The only thing i don't like is getting it to switch from temp from C to F. There is a switch on the back of the clock to switch back and forth, but it doesn't work. I got pissed so i slammed it down hard on y work bench and presto it switched to F. Now i am happy until i dropped it on the cement floor in the garage and it went back to C. So, i slammed it down hard again and it broke So I ordered another one. Hey.....it only cost $7.49 and arriving tomorrow. I should have ordered 2. What does that tell ya? ... show more

This is a pretty awful and cheap product. Yes what do you expect for this price, but it really shouldn’t be offered on Amazon. The instructions are tiny and grammatically poor. The display is not backlit and hard to see despite the large digits. Worthless.

So far so good. The numbers are large which is great for a sleepy morning. The alarm itself is a lower volume so if you need a really loud alarm this may not be the clock for you. I do think the clock although not very expensive is a little cheaper in quality and the price point should be lower.

Very easy to read. Alarm is loud. Switches and buttons on back of clock are simple and easy to adjust. Display includes time and alarm (12 or 24 hour), temperature (F or C) and month/date. I have set an alarm 12 hours off, so seeing 6:00 and knowing that it is 6 am and not 1800 (6 PM) is great! Backlight (press snooze button on top) is VERY BRIGHT! Use the "sensor" switch on the back for a more subtle backlight/nightlight and turn it off during the day to save battery life. Takes 3 AAA batteries and battery compartment door just slides out; easy to find batteries and no tools needed. It's large for a travel alarm clock, but the smaller ones I've tried aren't loud enough to wake me up. 2 things aren't ideal. The snooze button can get pressed in your luggage and run down the battery. The display does not have the day of the week. Both are minor issues. I would DEFINITELY buy again. ... show more

I’ve left my original review below which was 5 stars. I’ve majorly downgraded it because the alarm clock would randomly reset so the time and alarm were all wrong. Then it started going off and wouldn’t stop so I took the batteries out. I put them back in and it started going off again and you can’t turn it off or change the settings. So, it was ok for a while, now it’s unusable. ——————— My son chose this and I was getting confused over the set-up but he managed to do everything without reading the instructions so I think I was making it harder than it actually was. He’s 8. He loves the large display, the only thing I dislike is the alarm itself. It gets more and more frantic but then turns off after 1 minute. This is fine if he’s already got up and forgot to turn it off though. ... show more
