I was very excited to add grill baskets to my grill accessory kit. However, when I got this set, it was bit disappointing. Still, it'll be a good fit if this was solely used for kabobs, with oil sprays. - They're too narrow to fit in shrimps without straightening them up. - Cleaning was difficult as it was already mentioned by another reviewer. I tried rubbing the lead out, and it's very challenging. I rubbed some out, but can't be entirely sure. - The hinges are weak and one actually came off while I was washing them. I was able to put it back with my bare hand, without welding it.

UPDATE THESE ARE MADE FROM HIGH CARBON STAINLESS AND WILL RUST. VERY HARD TO USE ON CHARCOAL GRILL AND ONLY 1 HANDLE TO TRY AND TURN WITH, IT GETTS TOO HOT TO USE. They worked ok on a small gas grill BUT NOT GOOD FOR CHARCOAL

The Kadorva Grill Baskets is a set of four rectangular shaped baskets in which cut up veggies, meat, and seafood are held for cooking on a barbeque. They are a substitute for kabob skewers. It comes with a single handle that can be used to engage each basket one at a time. The latch on the handle is difficult to use due to the heat. I found it useful to use the handle and not engage the latch. Four baskets will hold a lot of food, which can be turned over multiple times for even cooking. I found these baskets to work better than cylindrical grilling baskets. Although the cylinders will hold more food, they are difficult to turn. The Kadorva has four flat sides making turning a snap. The handle is the weak point as it is uninsulated. Light duty work gloves seem to help. Top rating for this time saving grilling tool.

I love grilling, and many times I like to make little bites, or kabobs. Sometimes, it is difficult to get pieces on the long, spindly kabob racks, such as onions and asparagus. These baskets are much better as everything is just put into the basket and then put into the fire. I tried it out on some onions, carrots, peppers, and zucchini slices – and it worked excellently. I love the slight char the veggies got, along with how they cooked easily. I’ll definitely be using this more as the summer goes along.
