Description
Give an idle hoverboard a second life. The Awwscooter K1 is a seat attachment that turns most self balancing boards into a sit down go kart for backyards, driveways, and family play. The hoverboard is not included and is shown only for reference. Before you buy, check your board. It fits most 6.5, 8, and 10 inch self balancing scooters that do not have a center knee bar, so measure the width between your wheels and skip Segway style boards with a support post in the middle. Setup is quick. The kit comes with the tools, illustrated instructions, and mounting straps you need to go from box to ride in about five to ten minutes, and it ships with four straps in total, two of them spares, so a stretched or worn strap gets swapped on the spot instead of ending the fun. One frame fits the whole family. The reinforced frame adjusts in length from 28.3 to 33.5 inches to suit short and long legs, from kids to teens to adults, and holds up to 265 pounds so everyone can take a turn. Steering is simple and playful. A 360 degree front wheel and two foam padded handles let riders turn, spin, drift, and reverse with a firm grip on flat driveways and open pavement. The K1 is a seat attachment accessory only. It does not include a hoverboard, and it is backed by a one year warranty with replacement part help when you need it.

Great Upgrade for Any Hoverboard

From Hoverboard to Go-Kart!

I bought this scooter Go Kart Seat Attachment for my grandson’s hoverboard, and it turned out to be a real winner. The minute we put it together, he was off and racing! Assembly was simple and only took about 15 minutes. All the parts were clearly labeled, and the instructions were easy to follow. The adjustable frame fit perfectly onto his 8” hoverboard, and I like that it can grow with him since the seat length can be extended. The straps and clamps hold everything firmly in place, so there’s no slipping or wobbling even when he zips around corners. Absolutely garbage.

We used it, but then one time the bolt on the third wheel/the wheel that comes with the kart fell off even though we tightened it every day. The worst part is that it fell off even more after, the entire thing falling off and almost INJURED him by almost crashing when it fell. Absolute garbage. I would say 1 star since it did give us fun at first. It was loose and took forever to build.

The seat itself is alright! It did not come with a nut for one of the handle bars. And it’s missing the Velcro straps. I’d rate it more if it would have come with it. Extra time my daughter can’t ride her hoverboard from Christmas. But it’s okay!
