This K&N cold air intake system is engineered for your vehicle. A mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube helps increase the volume of airflow to your engine and provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque with no tune required. This intake system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter™ featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. Ok to start you will definitely feel the extra 11hp. The sound is a little louder than I figured it would be but I'm definitely impressed by the sound when ya get on it. It sounds freaking awesome! Pretty easy install if you're mechanically inclined at all. Took maybe 45 minutes start to finish on the install. The fit is perfect as you would expect from K&N. Only draw back is you'll want to put your foot in it more to hear the car come alive and be able to breathe!! Overall I would highly recommend this if you're wanting a quick power upgrade. I would bet your fuel mileage would go up if you could keep your foot out of the gas which I can't seem to do now! ... show more

    • Chrysler 200: Easy install, noticeable difference. 5/5
Just installed this on a 2012 Chrysler 200 Touring 2.4L Engine with 6 speed transmission. The install was very easy, we did it with 2 guys (one very experienced with mechanical work) and it took us about 1 hour. The box came with all of the parts we needed and the instructions were quite clear, we just made sure to read them carefully and examine everything before we took any major actions. The only problem was one hole was drilled too small on a support bracket, so we drilled it out a little larger, no big deal. I am completely happy with this upgrade, I noticed the improvement immediately. The engine sounds the same under 2.5k rpms, the "nice" driving range, but when pushing on the accelerator any harder, the vehicle is louder now and has a pleasant growling sound. My girlfriend described it as sounding "mean" and really likes the change. The vehicle feels like it reacts to me pressing the throttle more quickly, and I feel like it is a little faster now, but I also realize that it could just be a placebo effect. I have never timed my car on any speed tests or had it run on a dyno, so I can't say for sure. I have not had it on long enough to make a valid comment on whether or not it affects my mpg. ... show more

Adds better throttle response to my 2.4 Dodge Journey. Sound a big more roarer than before, sometimes annoying if you're climbing a long hill, but you'll get use to it. Sounds great in parking lots and tunnels though.

Installation wasn’t terrible but there were some directions not as clear as others and the bracket location made no sense and I could not tell from the picture where exactly it screwed into from the intake pipe. But my gas mileage and acceleration have definitely improved ever since installing it. Acceleration is noticeable at 3000 rpm in my Dodge Avenger. It took me about 2 hours for prep, removal of factory intake, adding CAI, and clean up. ... show more
