  • Definitely the place to start for easy power gains.
Props to Amazon for fast, free shipping. I have a 2011 Cruze Eco. Installation was no problem, put it on at 3 AM with just a droplight to work by and it pretty much fell right in place. Pros: >Easy install. >Definite gain in power - added 5 miles per hour to the top end of the car :) >Bumped my gas mileage up about 2 miles per gallon on the highway, when I drive like I have some sense. (Highway driving gives me about 45 MPG) >Looks kinda cool under the hood, gets rid of that HUGE stock airbox. >Lets you HEAR that turbo spool up, and the purge between gears. It is a lot more pronounced, and you can hear the engine doing its thing. >K&N filter, so you know that you really can't go wrong with this setup. Cons: >Uses the existing black rubber intake elbow tube. It's plenty big and works, but I can't help feeling a bit cheaped out by re-using this part. (and it is ugly) >It is a bit expensive, K&N is proud of their stuff. >There was a bit of a raised rough edge on the aluminum housing where the flow sensor bolts up. It didn't affect the installation, but I made a few passes with a mill file to knock it off just because it was a flaw in an otherwise quality setup. >If you don't like hearing the rush of intake air, or the purge between gears ... then why are you looking at a performance intake anyway? It IS noticeably louder than the stock airbox when accelerating, but on the highway you probably won't even notice it. It sounds like your engine is in the glove box when you are accelerating, seriously. Overall, highly recommended. The cons are minor, and the pros are worth it. Just buy one and be happy. ... show more

  • 2012 chevy cruze eco K&N intake
Great investment if you want a little bit of performance upgrade and your vehicle to breathe. I installed a K&N on my 2012 cruze/eco and AWESOME! You can hear the turbo spool and it does compensate a bit on the turbo lag when merging onto a highway. I did notice an improvement on (1) gas mileage. *note: since day one of ownership of my car (5 yrs. 55k miles) I used only 93 grade and 15k oil filter and 15k oil (Mobile) The installation process wasn't to painful if your somewhat mechanically inclined. I managed to uninstall the old and insert the new within 1 hr. (2) *note: The only pain in the butt is removing part of your bumper to uninstall the old air filter -condensation line- ( don't quote me if that's the correct terminology) Other than great buy and investment ... show more

  • great mod...
If you like how silent your stock cruze is driving in town, then this is not for you. Overall performance improves at the cost of hearing the decompression valve... it sounds like you have a small individual who keeps flushing the toilet in the glove box every time you accelerate and release the pedal. The engine has a nicer roar however, and you can hear the turbo hiss a little when pushing to the high rpms. A little more acceleration, better torque. The car remains silent though cruzing on the highway. Onto gas mileage, it is definitely improved on highway and when you "eco-drive". But I believe it is worse than stock when you drive the cruze hard. Overall, it is a nice upgrade. I was not expecting the sound of decompression (this is my first turbo engine) though, but it is ok as 75% of my driving is on the highway and country roads. ... show more

  • Tested for about 4 months.
The media could not be loaded. I have been using this for about 4 months now. It was a very easy install. Upon finishing I found that the car ran a little bit louder in idle, but certainly had more of kick when giving it some gas. I have been tracking it for about 4 months to see improvement in gas mileage and how much I am spending on a consistent basis. The computer reads instead of 36-38mpg now 42-45 mpg when I'm traveling on the highway. I have also reduced my spending on a V6 jeep in gas of about $200 a month, to about $120 in this little turbo 1.4. Great product so far! I've had a great experience with the brand and the product. Below is a video of giving it a little gas. ... show more

  • Wow! A product that doesn't disappoint!
Bought this for my 2014 Cruze LT RS 1.4 Turbo based on the high reviews and I'm happy to say I am not disappointed! Product works exactly as advertised. The turbo is so loud and pronounced now I can't believe it. The looks you get from pedestrians never gets old. As far as performance don't expect leaps and bounds. It does SLIGHTLY reduce turbo lag on take off. Anyone with a turbo Cruze knows they don't come to life until about 3,000 RPM. This helps mildly with that...still not a race car by any means. But boy does it sound good! Installation was very straight forward. Complete detailed directions complete with pictures and even a complete list of exact tools needed. Couldn't be any easier. No mechanical knowledge needed whatsoever. My installation took 30-40 minutes total. Basically if you're looking to add some excitement to your Cruze this product delivers, turbo sound is very noticeable and it does add some slight power. Fuel mileage is relatively the same. The ONLY reason I didn't rate higher is because of the price. It just isn't a $260 thrill. But the ease of install and high quality justify that. Overall great product from a great company! ... show more

  • Best price out there! Great Product.
If you're looking to add some zip to your otherwise dull cruze, this will do it. The simple and easy install can be done in about 60-90 minutes and is completely reversable as well. After install, you can clearly hear the turbo spool up as well as the blow off valve. Power gains are a little less than noticible, but there is a little bit of one. I also noticed a little increase in gas mileage (when I wasn't using the pedal that little bit extra to hear the turbo :]) A cost efficient and easy to do upgrade. ... show more
