Finally got around to installing this on my 350 tbi at the start of summer, and I have to say i'm fairly impressed with this kit, It was very easy to instal into my truck, and it was actually harder to take out the old air filter system then put this on . I was very skeptical about any kind of mpg gain, but I was very surprised to see on average a gain of 1 mpg on my daily commute. I also have noticed a slight gain in horsepower especially low end but nothing huge. However be forewarned this makes the truck sound much more aggressive when you press down on the pedal, you'll probably burn through some gas due to wanting to hear you engine roar to life. ... show more

I had one of those little 10" edelbrock pro-flo you can get at autozone that I swapped out for this one and it's absolutely massive compared to the edelbrock. Almost twice the diameter and easily twice as tall. If you're switching from an already open air intake you won't notice any change even though it's considerably larger than the previous one, it's just piece of mind that the engine isn't having a hard time breathing and looks way better. It looks great with the chrome top and bottom lids, the bottom lid is also concave to allow for more room underneath so it doesn't hit anything since it's so wide. It also comes with everything that you'll need, including a new stud and crank case filter/block off cap. It's a well thought out product. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the filter itself. It's not as deep of a red as other K&N filters, it's more of a dull red. And after you put the oil on the filter, the filter will swell making it a real PITA to get it back into the lids. You really have to fight it to get it back in there, but once it's in it's IN there, you definitely don't have to wonder if anything is loose. ... show more

Bought for a 95 Silverado 350 TBI Package was in perfect condition when it arrived. It looks really, really good, installation was a breeze. Comes with all the necessary parts.Hard to say if performance was affected. Don't expect too much of a power gain, and you'll be content. Will try to update my mileage results after I run through a few tanks of gas. This makes the 2nd K&N intake i have bought, so I'd definitely buy another one. My only complaint is the price. There's no reason this should cost anymore than 80-90 bucks. ... show more

I like this air filter. It's good quality and does seem increase throttle response. Installation is super easy and you really shouldn't even need to look at instructions.
