I had the stock air boxes on my 96' impala ss with 180,000 miles on it. bought the K&N and i immediately noticed a change in my top end acceleration. the response was like nothing else. i highly recommend this for the LT1 motor. i also have 40 series flowmasters on my vehicle so it breathes well. next upgrade will be the headers. Great fit, great shipping and product arrived and worked as it was supposed to. No problems at all. Can't agree too much about the improved gas milage becasue my foot stays deep in the throttle but overall I can see a slight increase in power.

I have been looking for this kit for over a year. Everywhere I looked it was priced between $247-300 plus shipping and handling. When I checked this websight, out of the clear blue, the kit was not priced; there was a hyperlink that took me to "the magic place" where the kit was $165 w/no shipping or handling! I could not type fast enough to place my order. My kit arrived at my office 4 days later and was well packaged and complete. the best for your car and it only took me about 60 minutes to install. i love it . it made my caprice ltz 94 go from 0km to 100km in 7.65 sec on a stock injen not loud like thay say it is a 100% fit to my lt1 eazy to install

Took a bit of work but I managed to get it installed with a bit of effort and sweat. Make sure to remove homebase if you have a B-body LT1 or you'll be wasting a lot of potential.

I had to go buy hardware because I was sent the wrong size poly nuts they were too big. Also the filters are different colors one is red and one is pink. For the price I would expect better.
