Just finished with install......1.5 hours. Not too bad. Video on u tube was helpful and sped things up a bit im sure. The ecm was cleared before start up with a code reader at a friends local garage. The sound is a nice deep note. Moving way WAY more air. All the stuff Toyota puts on out front of this intake is big overkill. EPA im sure. This opened things up considerable.....no joking on this one. As for hp. gains goes......its got a bit more of pull after the rpm comes up. The low end torque is not as noted.So if your looking fore wheel spinning performance right off the line. You may be disappointed some. After rpm builds or during a downshift romp at 30mph......WoW! Even with traction control on. You will get some tire spin and a mild dose of torque steer. Be ready to drive like you stole it after this romp.....lol In a camry no less. I did note right away that it sounds like a larger engine up there. City driving saw an immediate increase in gas mileage. Just over 4 mpg better in town. 28 mpg. highway saw similar jump....35 to 38. Would I do this one again.....Hell Yea! ... show more

Installed on my 2012 Toyota Camry SE V-6. Installation was simple with the detailed instructions included and conjunction with YouTube videos online. Quality fit and integration with factory components. Was skeptical of power gains before installing, but boy was i pleasantly surprised by how this intake woke up my engine and the sound is phenomenal! This should be factory on all Camrys ( are you listening Toyota?). Couldn't be more pleased with the results, good job K&N! ... show more

I love my 2013 V6 Camry SE and hope to pass it on to my kids and have it in the family forever. This is a very fun car to drive because people don't expect to be so fast and they are surprised by it's deep, throaty, yet modest growl when accelerating. There is symbolic arrogance of prestige with the Audi, BMW, MBZ, and Cadillac makes, though with the Camry brand there is the arrogance of RELIABILITY that I'm proud of, my practical peasant mobile. I was a little intimidated installing the K&N intake, I actually did it in two attempts. On the first I gave up and was thinking about returning it, but I did it on a day where I had a set amount of hours to accomplish it and got frustrated that I would not complete it on time because of the complexity involved. On the second attempt I had two days off from work to do it, and honestly it was relatively easy, especially without any stress just taking my sweet time. The quality of parts and fit and finish I would rate a 7/10, there was some twisting and bending to make things fit properly and the finish of some parts are just, okay. I had the K&N video ready but the paper instructions were mostly sufficient, some of the photos were not very clear so I did resort to the video on occasion. So everything looked great when I was done and reconnected the battery. The car will NOT start on first try but WILL on the second, this also happened with my son's 4cyl Camry install. Driving mildly the car sounds just like stock, with the factory intake you step on it the car growls and you're like, that's nice. With the K&N intake it's like; WHAT THE HECK, AND SCREAMS LIKE A WILD BANSHEE!! I was surprised that it wasn't more of a low muscle car like grunt, but up an octave like a high revving GT car. Performance wise as a daily commuter I experienced no change which is good, when you step on it appears to come to life and have greater throttle response. It could just be in my head because of the visceral experience, but I honestly think it is marginally quicker. I kind of have mixed feelings about this, the beauty of the V6 2GR-FE Camry is it's overall comfort, smoothness, refinement, and stealthiness. The K&N intake definitely changes it's personality when pushed hard, although I think if I removed it back to stock I would certainly miss it. ... show more
