First, I installed this on a 2018 Grand Cherokee Limited Sterling edition with the 5.7L equipped with the tow package. I have also installed K&N intake systems on at least 6 other vehicles over the last decade. As expected the fit and engineering is very good. It took less than 20 minutes to install - in part because there are not many factory mounting points and removal of the stock intake system takes about 2 minutes. After installing I took it for a 5 mile test drive - mainly to see what the noise level is. I was surprised how quiet the K&N system is for this vehicle. Probably the quietest intake I have installed to date, and it only has a slight grumble at full open throttle above 3,000 RPM. That is a good thing - my wife rolled her eyes when she saw the box arrive, and at idle and normal acceleration is really isnโt much louder than stock. Throttle response is slightly better and I have no idea if Iโll see an increase in mileage, but Iโve actually been happy with the 19-20 we have seen in the first 1,000 miles. As others have mentioned, be careful with the air sensor - itโs fragile but as long as you remove and replace by hand you will be fine. There is a metal coolant line on my Jeep that runs under the intake - I had to bend the bracket on the line to allow it to clear but you can also fine tune the angle of the intake tube before tightening the fittings on both sides. Looks great and I like the reusable / washable filter. Iโd buy this again.

Easy to install. Amazon had this part as not fitting my 2013 Jeep Cherokee with the 5.7L however I checked on K&N site and this was the correct one. Fit perfect, took 30 minutes to install and that was because I took my time. Much better throttle response, definite notice hp gain and sound is perfect. Saw people posting they broke the clip on the air temp sensor when removing from old air box and sure enough, it breaks. However you do not need the clip when reinstalling, there is no spot for the clip to lock on. Use some plumbers tape around the sensor and it fits better in the new air tube.

This K&N is easy to install and the original air box is easy to remove. Initial start will reveal nothing new. Expectations are grand, but the first drive may only reveal a minor bump in engine sound. It's not until you drive the vehicle a couple times that you feel the power and hear more motor. It is a worthwhile and important upgrade. There is definitely more power to the ground, responsiveness is there and it is more pleasurable to drive. Best part is you can cruise without any drone or noise, but pass someone and people know your coming.

I finally bought this Kit for my wife WK2 Hemi. I had this K&N kit on my wishlist for sometime now. Man what a difference. You can really hear that Hemi Roar now. You can definitely feel a difference when Accelerating from the start. I truly recommend this kit for any one who wants to spice up their Hemi engine. There is one Pic I got close to the filter. I want you all to see that I cut the top of the old intake box snorkel scoop off. I did not like that opening with the Trim just laying across there. Now it looks clean. Now you can always just go buy that part but why if you have it already. Just cut it. Last pic, you will see I cut off abit of the Hemi cover because I did not like the fact it was laying on top of my intake air sensor. It was a personal decision. Not needed. Overall this by far is one of the greatest additions I could of done to this WK2 Hemi. Thank you K&N and Amazon.

Awesome addition to my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Super easy install. Minimal tools needed (8mm & 10mm socket 8mm hex bit). It looks great under the hood and then it wakes up when you hit the throttle! The growl is throaty like a HEMI is suppose to be. The instructions were easy for installation. The website has pictures and i watched a youtube video to help before i started. The only thing i had an issue with was removing the factory air intake sensor. Warning - be very carful removing as it has plastic components that can break. They MEAN it, this tab is designed to break when manipulated. It is a tiny tab that you need to pry up before you twist the sensor out. That was the only issue i had. Have seen 2-3 mpg increase to the 5.7L V8 Hemi - this is right after i got it, so i've been stomping on it a lot and still getting around 20+ mpg compared to 16 mpg i was getting before. Good quality/great product!

Easy installation, fits and works as expected. Not so great in "ECON" mode mileage wise - probably due to air/fuel mix with just 4 cylinders. ECON is best on the highways. Power / response really kicks in noticeably at around 3000-3500 RPM with ECON off or in Sport Mode - super responsive in Sports mode. Towing was superb. No problems up our PNW roads / mountain passes. Definitely worth the $. I live in the PNW so no concerns about engine temperature or idle temperatures. 2017 AWD R/T Blacktop Ed w/ Tow.

I'm not fully persuaded this actually fits my 2014 Jeep GC 5.7L Summit. I do a ton of auto work on my own cars and this should have been a simple 15 min project. Most of the time spent taking off my stock intake and all the plastic! But, once I began trying to 'fit' the rubber flange thru the heat shield, it became apparent it was not going to be easy. even with lubricant. So I took about 1 hr + to manually file the hole larger until I finally could get the rubber flange thru the heat shield. Once i did that, I began to fit the filter on to the flange and went to attach to my intake body. That is when I realized that there was no rubber adapters to connect that end since I had used the one supplied to attach the pipe to the flange on the hear shield. I also discovered at that point, the the heat shield, was not configured to seat on my factory mounts like the old box. Not only that, I'm afraid if i did try and mount it on those studs, the edge of the metal heat shield would eventually wear a hole in my plastic washer tank with normal vibrations. So, in the end, 2 hours later, i scrapped the heat shield, moved the rubber mount connector to the throttle body intake side, and tighten it up. The intake now rests on my A/C tubing at the filter end which I'm not happy about. Normal vibrations may eventually damage an A/C line. If truly this product really was designed for my year Jeep, it is a poor design. We aren't really building rocket ships here. I bought K&N thinking the Big name would have the right design for a plug-n-play install.
