It comes with a carrying case and a shovel to help dig. I haven't found anything too valuable yet, but it's been fun just scanning around my park.

I do not recommend this product. I bought it because I had my property surveyed and a couple of the pins got overgrown and after using it for about two hours, trying to find them the batteries went dead, so it uses power very quickly and then I went to, the known location of one of the pens and you could actually see the pin, sticking out the ground and it was not a constant notification on locate that even though I could see it, so I definitely would not purchase this item again
