Like most baby rails on Amazon, if you've seen one - you've seen them all. Metal rods, button to lower the rail, net to keep your baby in, and nylon straps to secure the posts. However, what all of these descriptions miss is the describing the base rail that goes under your mattress. With a flimsy base (see photos), the railing will easily fall right off. Although this item come with a few screws, no where in the description it state we needed to drill screws into our bedframe. The instructions state if you cannot screw them in, get some rope to fix the base to the bed board. For an item costing over 100 dollars, I shouldn't be tying anything with rope. Furthermore, the base rail is only 9.25 inches long. That's not long enough to firmly secure the base when a 1 year old is pushing against it. I wish the description of ALL baby rails being sold on Amazon talk about this, because its like buying a car with the wrong sized wheel. Completely defeats the purpose of the baby rails and caused my wife and I to spend our whole Sunday just trying to MacGyver it to our bed, but we ended up returning it because it ultimately didn't work for us. The whole purpose of buying this was to make my life easier, not harder. Lastly, the rails are NOT easy to install. Instructions are written in broken English, and it does take a few hours to install (you'll mostly run into issues with the base). FYI - what I've noticed on Amazon is a company will sell a product, if it gets some bad reviews, will "go out of biz", and spin up again as another Made in China no-name company (even reusing some photos of the item).
