I took a chance on this head unit not knowing what to expect (I have JVC KW-M865BW on my other vehicle and thats great). Let me say I'm very pleased with it. Radio is above basic. If you're looking for something with idata link look elsewhere. I bought this head unit to replace the factory radio on a 2008 Honda fit. Sound quality is great compared to the factory unit. Love that I can screen mirror my phone to it. Everything screen mirrors from my note 10+ running android 11 (it's NOT wireless). Bluetooth works great. The EQ works as it should. This one is not lagging like my old jvc it really great ima try to plug my subs in to it see how it handles but I am pretty sure it’s going to be a great radio

    • Good for the money
The mirroring function is pretty much useless, since it requires the parking brake to be on, which I didn't even hook up. So with no Android Auto support, don't count on a mapping feature. The touchscreen is nice, but the on/off capacitive button has given me fits. The other buttons work fine. Operation is simple. I haven't hooked up a back-up canera, but may in the future.     • Buy this and not the off brand stuff!
Well worth the money. I made the mistake of buying a "cheap" no name player first. It was a POS. This one was like $20 more but quality is night and day! I would have saved time and money buying this one first.

    • It is not iPhone ready and will not mirror
Very disappointed. All the documents say it is iPhone ready and it is not. It will not mirror your phone although an instructions it says it will. If I could return it for an exchange for when it actually did what it says it would do I would do it.

For some reason this failed after a little over a year. Coincidentally, just out of warranty. This is the second one I've bought, because the first one failed after 2 years. I suppose they aren't made the way they used to be.
