I purchased this because I thought my great-grandson would like it but he doesn't. I like that it's mobile because this makes it easier to move when filled with sand or water. I don't like the net because it's cheap quality. Follow up: After only one use the pole has bent and separated from the backboard. My great-grandson didn't know this wasn't a break-away backboard so he tried to slam dunk, bending the pole. If it can be bent this easily it's not quality material. Don't recommend it. ... show more

    • Good Starter basketball hoop for kids
This basketball hoop is designed for kids age 4-12 max. Remember to use small baseball and not the full size one. The force and weight of a normal basketball will put too much force on the hoop and poll. Any ball lower than 20 will do.

This is not what I expected to get I was very unhappy with my purchase the rim has already bent all the way down just from the ball hitting it the backboard is extremely tiny this is more meant for a very tiny child not a fifth or sixth grader. It is very cheaply made.

This was one of the cheaper hoops that I found for my son to practice on. He wasnt able to play on it for a full day before the hoop completely snapped off. If you purchase this item, I recommend not using an actual basketball.
