I had to grab a new jump pack when my old one finally failed. I was really happy with the battery charger I got some time back from TOPDON, so decided to take the plunge on this jump unit. I am not disappointed. The JS1200 is very rugged and the port covers are solid. I need it for my track car, so it sees a lot of dust and dirt. The USB-C charge port is great as it goes to full charge in a very reasonable amount of time. I think the best feature is the instruction set on the jump connector. No more home-made instruction sheet - this one is not going to get screwed up by one of my buddies. The storage bag is nice with two compartments and a loop handle. It feels pretty durable, which again, will be good long term for me. The included USB outs are a bonus, as is the light which is again, a good size and on the end of the unit in a useful place. There is a DC outlet which kind of mystifies me, but I imagine eventually I will find a use for it. Anyway, I recommend. On the lightweight thing the review asked me for - I am not sure I want this to be light weight. I want it to be heavy duty and work. Which it is and does. ... show more

The first thing about this item is the packaging, neat bag to store the unit. I've had experience with quite a number of jump starters over the years and the robust build of this unit impressed me with the battery clamps being durable. Many jumper kits come with flash lights that tend to disappoint, this one sure didn't, very good lighting span and brightness. Couple weeks after receiving the unit I ended up in a situation of having to jump start my car, and it was such a smooth and easy process if just connecting, see the solid green light and START. The ability to use it as a charger is excellent, giving you the option of 2.1A of 3.5A output port. There's also a DC output port which I haven't tested yet, but this will assist with my track days, using it to power my pump. The unit doesn't come with the necessary attachment for this, but I'll get it in short order and update this review. ... show more

My car has some electrical issues that make it so it needs a jump every so often, n seriously this thing is a life saver. So cheap, it holds a charge for so long, n has worked Everytime. I've needed to use it like 6 since since purchasing n haven't regretted it at all. I bought it specifically for a long road trip I was goin on n luckily didn't needa use it while away, but when I got back in town my car was a bit finicky to say the least n this thing got it up n running within a few mins. The longest I've had to wait for it to charge up my battery was 5 mins. In my experience (could jus be my car) I always need to push the Boost button after I've had it connected for a couple mins n that does the trick. If you push the boost button too soon it doesn't do it but if you let it sit 2 mins it'll do its job. Long ramble but seriously, if you need one of these, look no further cuz this is exactly what you need. It's so small n compact n comes with an amazing hard case. Definitely buy this ... show more
